    snippet:
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Tom Walsh came under criticism almost
immediately after Art Shell hired him as the offensive coordinator
    for the Oakland Raiders.

As the offense struggled week after week, the barbs only got
worse as people questioned why the Raiders turned their offense
over to someone who had been out of the NFL for 11 seasons, and
spent the previous seven years running a bed and breakfast in
    Idaho.

The lack of production eventually cost Walsh his job. The
question remains whether anything will change when John Shoop calls
the plays for Oakland (2-9) against the Houston Texans (3-8) on
    Sunday.

I think our potential Raider deal ends today . If we play a clean game we win 17-10 .
The Raiders get after the QB so I think we'll have two fumbles ... ouch .

The Raiders will be tough, they may only have 3 wins but they have a top teir passing defense.

Da Raiders only have Two wins thay are 2-9.

That said thay do have a very good Def. rated in the top five passing D with 14 INT's.(several returned for TD'd) Also thay have 22 sacks on the season. The problem with the Raiders is Off. thay are alot worse than us. Talk about NOOOOOO QB, O-line, and Moss is starting to talk ala TO type negitaves. ? on this game is the replacement O-Cord. Might light a fire under the Off. We will see come game time. Gooooo Texannns

When the Texans have the ball: Coach Gary Kubiak hasn't changed Houston's low-scoring ways, but he brought a scheme that allows quarterback David Carr to get quick passes off before a sack. He leads the NFL with a 69.9 percent completion rate, utilizing running back Wali Lundy as a dump-off option when in trouble. Andre Johnson, who leads the NFL with 84 catches, and Eric Moulds are physical receivers who will challenge cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha and Fabian Washington in man coverage. And don't expect a run game.

It's going to be another fight to the last couple minutes of the game...who wins???...I don't know. Hopefully it's us.

One stat that shocked me: Oakland is 2-3 at home.

I've only watched two Raider games this year. One on Monday night, were they looked like a joke, and the other last Sunday where they played the Chargers pretty tough.

If we were playing the team that looked ridiculous that Monday night, we'll probably win that game. But........

we aren't playing those guys, we're playing the team that played the Chargers last week. Their offense looked like they struggled against a tough pass rush. We don't have a tough pass rush..... Aaron Brooks is going to have all day to pass the ball to Randy Moss, and our secondary sucks. Even on the good side, our best corners side, the coverage sucks.

Their Defense is #7 overall in the league. We won't be able to run, we won't be able to pass, we won't be able to stay on the field. Look for the T.O.P. to be lopsided.

you all know, that I don't like to be realistic..... in this situation, I think it is best. The Raiders are a better team than we are this year. & we better get used to that. It will make this loss easier to swallow. It's going to be a blow out.

The only way that the Raiders get more than 21 points is if their defense gets some TD's on its own. The Raiders defense has abused many good teams, but their offense is crap compared to ours (and that is saying a LOT). Randy Moss has been dropping passes consistently and their QB situation is troublesome at best.

No way in Hades that the Raiders get 30+ points.
