Game 12 Thread: Texans @ Raiders

Its got to be crazy in the locker room right now. I hope Carr does not come out and play the second half. It's a joke now to keep him in the game.

Carr through the first half:
7/11 for 32 yards (2.9 avg) and three fumbles.
Of course he will have a solid 4th quarter when the game is well out of hand to pad the stats.

I'm very disappointed in Carr...he's just not there.
But by the same token, the o-line is pathetic. No time whatsoever and they're getting pushed into the backfield on every play. Even my wife noticed the "offensive linemen are too close too Carr when he throws." They're getting manhandled.

This is the day I stop defending Carr, even slightly. I was planning to give him the season and I thought I saw signs of progress, but the carelessness with the football is unforgivable, regardless of the HUGE protection problems this team has.

This guy looks like he just doesn't care. I wish I didn't.

I am not a defender of his just the anti-hater. I would just want some objectivity in the analyst of the team as a whole.

After watching the Titans play today, I hate my life. VY can get around most of the sacks that Carr takes.

This is almost like watching someone slip on a banana peel while you're on laughing gas. Its beyond sad and into the realm of funny.

Kubiak should take Sapp's advice to Sherman and, ''Put a jersey on, put a jersey on. You so tough, put a jersey on!!!" Let Kubiak QB, he can't be any worse.

I don't who is worse, Aaron Brooks or David Carr.

But one thing is for sure, the Texans are once again the worst team in the NFL.

Here is some analyzing. The guy isn't strong in the pocket. I'm tired of hearing about being gun shy. Guys who have never played much like Romo and VY and Rosenfels can slide out of the pocket and keep their head up and make plays. I'm not a hater. I'm just tired of being a loser.

Kubiak on 610 - "defense has been excellent, offense we gotta get something going, get the turnovers." Something pretty close to that.

In other words ... I could have taken a dump on the field and looked better than that. Kubiak is considering a couple things right about now ... Jack Daniels or Valium. My vote is on Jack Daniels due to availability.

We need a new offensive line because....
a.) we cannot protect the quarterback, and he can't hold on to the ball
b.) we can't run the football for @!#$
c.) they always get a crapload of penalties...
:crying:

Lets see if the team can sack up in the second half. It would be a first. The O-line has to do SOMETHING. Talk about turnstiles.

There is no excuse for 2 fumbles in consecutive series. The stat whores have no chance today.

It was reminiscent of Kitna's performance in the 4th quarter earlier today...he gave away the game almost by himself with 3 turnovers in the quarter. BUT at least he'd done some positive things in the game too. Carr can say no such thing.

what exactly would u like carr to do he got creamed on the 1st fumble not just takled i mean leveled stop giving half truths he didnt fumble because the wind blew him over or nothin he has at least two guys hitting him each time and they are running full speed when they hit him.....if you think you could hold on to the ball then why dont all you try out for the texans otherwise stop hatin and winston looks like ****

I am sure he could get some codine to go with the JD.

Its funny that after all that people are still calling for a rookie Qb to be drafted...my only hope for this season is to be in high enough position to draft Joe THomas but low enough to where we dont have to deal with the #1 pick crap. If we need a new qb, do what we should have done 5 years ago and sign a veteran until this o-line is capable of protecting a rookie.
