excuse me Palmer and Capers ruined Carr......He was a #1 ovrl pick becuase he took advantage of what he had.......a gun for a arm, look at his rookie year, in his first game. He went look, took chances, was confident. Capers took a #1 ovrl pick and wanted him to be a GAME MANAGER didn't want him took TAKES CHANCES wanted him to rely on a running game and offensive line he DIDN'T HAVE. Why do you thing Carr always.........ALWAYS take the SAFE PLAY because he was TAUGHT TO. Maybe I'm giving Palmer a bad rap, maybe this is why Capers fired him, I don't care, it doesn't matter.....Carr is ruined in Houston..........period, go somewhere else, new fresh start somwhere else, time to move on.

Your right though it probably wasnt Palmer....Carr will be the next Kerry Collins. A QB that failed under Capers and had a mediocre career somewhere else

The fact that we have about 6 positions that could use a first or second round pick should tell us something.
 
I'm leaving town on Dec. 10 ... there is no way I'm gonna stay here and give Bud and Vince the satisfaction of kicking our asses while I'm here .
 
draft talk? i dont care if its the draft or free agency bring in a qb. sage is a solid backup whos better than carr if we need to develop a rookie next yr i dont have a problem playing sage. priority number one is a qb though we cant keep rolling this joke out there every week unless we want to continue to be the joke of the the league. we need a big time starting rb as well
 
What this defense needs is 10 more Demeco Ryans and we'd be set. That guy is all over the field, it's too bad that he is playing for a team that plays the way we've been playing.

last week i may have said adrian peterson, but i may say draft brady quinn. i havent been pleased with lundy, but i think that the running game would be better if we could stretch the field and loosen up the defense. carr keeps everything in the middle of the field and in front of the defense, so defenses can get away with playing 8 guys in the box on just about every play.
 
So, we have the yellow flag for a penalty
A red flag to reflect a challenge
Can we implement a white flag to give up?

We'll be in position to draft more defense. But we need offense, too. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

i dont think he is doing it to pad his stats. if he wanted to pad his stats, he should be smarter. one stat he needs to pad is the TD passes. or i guess he can pad the "win" category
 
How about that Kevin Kolby (sp?) kid? Should be there in the second round if we're lucky. That'll let us get LaRon, or some other secondary player in the first.

i think demeco is clearly pro-bowl material. he wont make it because he is a rookie. if he wins DROY, which he should, and has a season similar to this yrs next yr, then i say he is a lock to make it next season.
 
Carr in for some more garbage time stat padding

The announcers keep talking about Pennington "finally getting out of his slump". I am getting sick of helping out the other team's QB's!!!!!
