Is there a scenario in which we would not host the Steelers in the Wild Card round? I can't seem to find it. Also, do you think Demeco will or should rest players for the Titans game?

Wow, I had no idea. Thank you Speedy! Who do you think we would rather play? Broncos?
This occurs if the Ravens lose to the Browns a 2nd time this season and the Steelers beat the BengalsIf Pittsburgh and Ravens have the same record, we play Baltimore. There’s also scenarios where we’d play the Chargers or Broncos
Personally, I'd hate to go into the post season losing our last three games. Also, do you think Demeco will or should rest players for the Titans game?
I think he wanted to prove he could fix it. Now, I think that he considers the Titans the most beatable, and 10 wins sounds/looks better than 9 !Should have shut down the whole team after clinching the division, there was nothing to play for and only injuries to be had. Could have gone into the playoffs with a healthy roster, but instead we are limping in missing a few guys and having zero confidence in the team.

Probably the Steelers. We will know more tomorrow when Denver and Chargers play the Saturday gamesIs there a scenario in which we would not host the Steelers in the Wild Card round? I can't seem to find it. Also, do you think Demeco will or should rest players for the Titans game?
No self respecting Oilers fan could ever root for the Steelers.I like the Steelers. Ok it's more like I admire the Steelers and I sometimes root for them, depending on matchup. They are one of a a very few "second teams" I root for, the others being Denver and SF. But I have always used the Steelers as the franchise to model the Texans after.
In any event, that's likely to be the matchup here in H-town. If the offense has a pulse, they can win at home. If they roll out the load of crap they did against Baltimore, it's a rout.
The Steelers can Kiss my A$$No self respecting Oilers fan could ever root for the Steelers.
Bengals need to win & Denver has to lose to the Chiefs for the Bengals to get the 7th seed. The Steelers have nothing to play for.Bengals open as One point favorite over Steelers..

It's down to playing either Pittsburgh or the Chargers.
HOUSTON vs. PITTSBURGH
Steelers win vs. Cincy
or
Chargers lose vs. Vegas
or
Chargers and Steelers both tie
HOUSTON vs. LOS ANGELES
Chargers win vs. Vegas AND Steelers lose or tie vs. Cincy

After they kiss yours, they will probably kick the Texans' ...The Steelers can Kiss my A$$
Wouldn't it be something if the Browns upset the Ravens?Ravens are still in the mix too.
HOUSTON vs. BALTIMORE
Ravens lose vs. Browns AND Steelers win vs. CIncy
Agreed. When was the last time the Texans beaten the ravens? If I am the ravens, I do everything possible to play the Texans again.

Still cant root for the Steelers.Oilers are dead. Long live the Texans.
Only thing I can imagine is DeMeco & crew were surprised like Apollo Creed was when he found out Rocky was serious.I want the Ravens again. The Texans have the starting talent to beat just about any team in the NFL, imo. At some point, they're going to have to find their pride & say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!! When they do that, they'll beat the Ravens decisively. In my opinion, of course.

I assume the Texans game will be the early kick-off on Saturday but I’m not seeing that anywhere.
I think the ravens would rather play the Texans in Houston as opposed to chargers or broncos in Baltimore. And pass up playing at home? Not sure the Ravens need to be worried about the Chargers, Broncos or Texans. Plus the Ravens aren't in total control of that. It depends on what Pittsburgh does 3 1/2 hours later against the Bengals, and I think the Steelers will get their doors blown off because the Bengals are fire offensively and playing for their playoff lives.
On another note, it's interesting that the Swifties are said to be resting because a loss to Denver would knock the Bengals out. I think Cincy is getting hot at the right time and I don't think anybody wants to risk getting into a shootout with them.
It would be dumb for the chiefs not to be resting. It is a meaningless game. The eye on the prize is another super bowl. Nothing else matters to them. I respect and understand that. And pass up playing at home? Not sure the Ravens need to be worried about the Chargers, Broncos or Texans. Plus the Ravens aren't in total control of that. You can bet your money on it. We always get the Saturday early wild card game.I assume the Texans game will be the early kick-off on Saturday but I’m not seeing that anywhere.

This is why the Ravens always scare me more than anyone else in the league. There may be better teams.... but I know we never seem to match up well vs Ravens.Dec 21, 2014
I despise the Steelers due to the "Love Ya Blue" era, but very much love how they are run as a franchise. The only team that I could remotely root for them is against the tAcks, and that depends on the situation.I like the Steelers. In what universe is this a legitimate possibility. The Giants, Patriots, Panthers, and Texans are the only teams the Browns might beat.Ravens are still in the mix too.

Either are preferable to the Ravens. Hopefully the Texans channel the NYG championship seasons where they beat the Patriots. Get hot now and go on a 4-game winning streak.
