Many people think he suffered a partial tear in seattle that completely gave way in practice. Similar to how he tore his acl in college.
Yeah I know but a lot of people are just guessing.
And the Texans will be exactly where they are today, with 2 more yrs of Watson's rookie contract gone. Unless they get really lucky in the draft.
You can believe what everyone saw at end of the Seattle game when he got hit awkwardly and got up limping. Or you can believe what Texans PR department stated happened in a closed off practice. It’s just semantics really...
Thomas just announced his retirement.I guess this means Joe Thomas is still playing next season?

Texans need help at safety. As soon as Tyrann Mathieu is available, they’ll check him out. They’re expected to sign a free agent S but at a reasonable cost. They have lots of needs and will spread around their money.

You need to go to McDonalds and get a happy meal, Debbie Downer. It's not all doom and gloom and FA is just starting.

Jeremy Maclin is now a FA, i wouldn't mind picking him up. Hop, Fuller and Maclin would be a pretty good squad for Watson.
Bottom feeding.
The Ravens didn't want to keep him around with their WR corps.
Just curious but is it still possible for a team to trade for a player announcing their retirement? So that if they decide to un-retire, the Browns no longer have his rights.Thomas just announced his retirement.
Maybe. That is... If Will Fuller can ever become reliable.I don't care about what the Ravens do, i am simply saying if you put him on the field with Hopkins and Fuller i think they would all do well together.

Texted with ex-Cardinals DB Tyrann Mathieu on what he's looking for in his next destination: "I wanna go somewhere where football and defense matters." Said he'd love to go to a place where he can immerse himself in the game, and a culture of winning.

Hey man I'm just messin with you.No need for this.
I've learned to LOL at the Texans org and what they sell to the fans every yr.

New England, Pittsburgh, Minn, Philly, Rams are a few teams that fit that description best.

I'd be happy with upgrades right in the middle and better blocking TEs. Our Tackles are going to need help but this isn't the end of the world. No team has 5 studs on their OL. BOb is gonna have to earn his money and scheme up some legit gameplans/help.
They can trade up for a guy like Crosby/Noteboom or take a chance on a character guy like Harrison/Richardson, which is what I Hope they do. Any of these guys can hold down RT. I can tell you that Henderson will be a better LT than Davenport next yr.
What you've described is the predicament the Texans/McNair has put this org in.
Ol' Steelb....
There's no correlation i'm aware of that shows the more you spend the more you're likely to win. Given what the premier team in the last decade in a half has done (Pats), the trend is actually quite the opposite.
Has Henderson ever play LT before? If not do you know how extremely hard to switch from RT to LT? You make it seem as if it's easy.
The SB champion Eagles and Jags say hi. The Tacks made the playoffs. Etc.....

You do realize, that this is just talk, right? This guy was really happy in Arizona. So why is he leaving. Because he didn't want to agree to any solution, that took Money out of his pocket - so he wouldnt agree to a paycut.
What he wants, first and foremost, is Money. Sure he might give a Team like New England a Little Bonus, but in the end, he will go where the Money is right.
This team is a joke. There's not even rumors that we are making any moves to sign anybody of substance.
I don't doubt the acumen of Dr. Jean of reading the 'injury tea leaves' nor the incompetence of the Texans medical staff, but do we have any hard (or soft) evidence that this happened?

Can somebody please explain Kirk Cousins' three-year, $84 million dollar contract with the Minnesota Vikings? What is the signing bonus? Somebody mentioned it was fully guaranteed. Say what!? I didn't know fully guaranteed contracts existed in the NFL.
what makes you think Maclin would be a good fit in this offense?I don't care about what the Ravens do, i am simply saying if you put him on the field with Hopkins and Fuller i think they would all do well together.

Analysts are saying that Cousins deal is sign of future contract especially at QB. Garoppolo's $61 m in first two years was $10 m more than if they had franchised him then Jon Gruden's $100 m changed coaching market. Despite all saying NFL is losing ratings the NFL is still cash cow and paying Commish $40 m annually on his extension (although lots tied to incentives) upset Jerry but still happening. The owners have difficult time correcting themselves. The NFL was the first 'me too' as they quickly jump to whatever new offensive or defensive scheme that seems to work. Can somebody please explain Kirk Cousins' three-year, $84 million dollar contract with the Minnesota Vikings?
