see if you notice the "drive killers/point removing penalties" .. not being focused and jumping off is one thing. Doing it on 3rd down, the red zone or in G2G situations is a cardinal sin for an OL, especially one who's supposed to be the best in the business.So, I quickly went through the play-by-play of the first 3 games.
I noted 4 false starts (by any lineman), and 2 resulted in a punt.
One was converted, but just barely.
Another one was converted near the opponent goal line.
It was a TD, luckily.
But here we see how a false start can alter the play call near the goal line.
And if we didn't convert it, we would have to settle for a FG.
