Thanks,
yea I'm thinking Lloyd and Johnson for sure, back and forth on Malcom Floyd and Holmes.
Pick 5 (two RBs, two WRs, and a flex)
Arian Foster
Jamaal Charles
LeGarrette Blount
Brian Westbrook
Anthony Dixon
Calvin Johnson
Wes Welker
Marquise Colston
Michael Crabtree
Brandon Marshall
The obvious starts, IMO, are Foster, Charles, and Megatron. Having trouble selecting my #2 WR and flex.
Thanks in advance!
I would go with those 3, Welker & Colston
Can't argue with this but I would give serious consideration to Blount @WSH. Sounds like a good problem to have.
I read somewhere (PFW maybe? or PFT?) that Blount's role was going to be reduced and he won't be getting the reps.
According to the St. Petersburg Times' Stephen F. Holder, the Bucs coaches are "puzzled" by LeGarrette Blount's occasional lack of success in short-yardage situations.
Holder writes that problem is not due to an "inability to power through defenders but rather from indecision at the line of scrimmage." Coach Raheem Morris said Earnest Graham might get a look on short-yardage plays. "We may have to look into a different direction in those situations but while we're still working with (Blount) at the same time," Morris said. This could certainly hurt the rookie's scoring upside going forward.
Blount's alma mater, Oregon, is one win away from the National Championship. This week, the rookie rusher could bring his owners one step closer to their own trophy destiny. Similar in style and substance as Christian Okoye Tecmo Super Bowl '91, the bulldozing back totaled only the third 80-plus yard game against the Falcons this season, rushing for 103 yards on 20 carries. Despite the youngster's extraordinary peformance, Raheem Morris was displeased with Blount's execution in critical short-yardage situations. So upset was the head coach, he suggested Earnest Graham(notes) could overtake such duties. When he chooses to remove the clogs and focuses running full-steam downhill, Blount is almost impossible to stop. His combination of size and speed is devastating. Washington will soon know. Over the 'Skins' past eight games, they've conceded five 100-yard rushing games and nine TDs to RBs. Don't worry about Graham's possible expanded role. In a must-win game for Tampa, expect the rhino to spike the competition.
Fearless Forecast: 19 carries, 96 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 15 fantasy points
LeGarrette Blount, RB, TB - The Redskins looked like a bunch of little kids out there playing against grown men last week. The Giants had their way with the Redskins, and they just pounded the ball on the ground at will. Blount has some very nice power, and he would love nothing more than to help his team bounce back this week against a floundering Washington team. Start Blount in most formats.
Blount looking at great matchup: The Redskins run defense has crumbled in the last two games, a perfect opportunity for Tampa Bay RB LeGarrette Blount to have a big game Week 14 in Washington. Washington is coming off a loss to the Giants in which they allowed 103 yards and two touchdowns to Brandon Jacobs on eight carries and 97 yards and two more scores to Admad Bradshaw on 25 touches. The Redskins have allowed the opposing team's running backs to rack up at least 100 yards in five straight games and the Vikings and Giants scored six total touchdowns against them the last two weeks
J. Stew vs. ATL or Felix Jones vs. the Eagles?
I need some serious advise fellas. Im in the playoffs in a 12 man league. Only 8 people left. The pot is about $900 if I win. This is my STARTING LINE UP:
QB Matt Schaub, QB Bal 12.83
WR Andre Johnson, WR Bal 11.10
WR Reggie Wayne, WR @Ten W, 30-28 10.91
RB Jamaal Charles, RB @SD 8.66
RB Arian Foster, RB Bal 16.29
TE Benjamin Watson, TE @Buf 3.95
W/R Dwayne Bowe, WR @SD 8.52
K Matt Bryant, K @Car 9.66
DEF Kansas City, DEF @SD 10.38
THIS IS ON MY BENCH AND WHO THEY PLAY
RB: Jonathan Stewart, Atl
RB: Pierre Thomas, Stl
RB: Ryan Torain, Tb
WR: Robert Meachem, Stl
QB: Sam Bradford, No
DEF: Dallas, Phil
Help would be appreciated... My opponent had Manning last night.
Zach Miller, TE

I wouldn't change a thing man.
Non PPR. Thinking about sitting Marshall for Floyd. Any other opinions on this lineup?

Should I start Blount or Ivory at the flex?

I got Roddy White, Greg Jennings, Lance Moore, Danny Amendola and Mike Thomas. I need to start 3 of them, 1 PPR league.
I'm thinking White, Jennings and Moore...
Garcon or Jennings?
Yep, thanks T4E.
I would go with Floyd, Marshall has been garbage this year and Floyd at least has upside. I can't see the image of your lineup on my work PC.
Dude... I need 8 measly points to get into the championship game, which I would then be in both finals for both my money leagues.
Stupid Metrodome roof!!! I would be way less concerned with my two WRs Earl Bennett and Johnny Knox getting me those points indoors!!
Yeah, I'm hoping it winds up 2-0...
No! Heres the problem with being commissioner. Everyone gives you thier money in the beginning and what, its just supposed to sit there untouched?!?

Looks like Knox got you your points for sure.
I'm in the championship this weekend. Who would you start?
Eli Manning @ Packers
Jason Campbell Home vs Colts
Tim Tebow home vs Texans
I'm leaning towards Tebow. I just don't trust Eli in Green Bay and I also love any QB vs Texans. Except Rusty Smith.
I'm in the Super Bowl this week with a nice +23 point projection right now. My QBs are
Josh Freeman against Seattle
David Garrard against Washington
or I could pick up one of these guys on the wire:
Tim Tebow against Houston
Kerry Collins @ KC
Rex Grossman @ Jax
Shaun Hill @ Miami
Any suggestions? Right now I'm going with Freeman, but Tebow sounds like a good pickup...
Its tough to go with Tebow, part of me thinks he explodes and part of me thinks he regresses, its basically a high-risk, high-reward thing IMO.
Kerry Collins is solid but he's playing against a decent KC defense that can rush the passer and cover WRs. Unless Nate Washington has a big day, Collins is not going to light up the scoreboard. He should do decent but nothing impressive.
Rex Grossman tends to be hot and cold. He plays well one game than completely sucks it up the next.
I would stick with Freeman and or Garrad who plays a weak Redskins defense that struggles against the pass.
Need some help at QB.
Rivers @ Cin or Schaub @ Den?
Man, I knew I should have listened to my gut and started Schaub. Rivers has been TERRIBLE!!!!!
:kubepalm:
What do you mean? They had nearly the same stats, only a 50 yard passing difference, and Schuab had a fumble. In my league they were 3 points different because Rivers loses 1 for the sack.
