Week 3 Game Day thread! Bludgeon the Vikings!

Hall Of Fame Texans Fan!
Today is the day. This game will test both the offense and defense.
It's time for the Texans to break out of their shell and play a solid game on both sides of the ball.
I think this will be a Tank Dell break out game. 80 yards and a touchdown.
The Texans win!

He's out. It'll be up to Cam Akers to make it happen. I think he'll be more then serviceable in Joe's absence. We also have Ogumbawale and Brooks. I think the running game will be OK. Not great, but good enough to keep the Vikings defense on their heels a bit and open the passing game just a bit more.

Ivan Pace being out will definitely help the Texans run game. And Dallas Turner being out takes a pass rusher out of the Vikings rotation.

I completely agree. And also, CJ Stroud is not Brock Purdy. CJ won't get rattled and make mistakes like Purdy did.
 
I’m thinking Diggs will have a monster game today.

Agreed we need to have a solid game on both sides. Cut back on those silly penalties and do not turn the ball over. And we should win this one.

Been around brother. Just lurking here and there.
I don't really have time to make the weekly threads anymore, but I think I can handle the game day threads.
Maybe we can have fun again as Texans fans now.
 
I think the Texans defense will stifle Sam and make him look like the Sam of the Jets. The Texans defense will get to him for at least 5 sacks and force him to throw at least 2 interceptions. That front 4 might even force a fumble.
CJ will get on track and throw at least 3 touchdowns for over 300 yards and Cam will run one in and get at least 70 yards.
The running game will combine for at least 130 yards.
Let's go TEXANS!!!
 
A win on the road today will be huge. We can take Minnesota. We just can't have mistakes and miscues. Gotta play clean. I hope the offense gets more playmakers involved, especially Dell and the tight ends.

I initially assumed Stroud was struggling but no way! The all-22 shows him making reads and then balling!
 
So with Patterson out and Scruggs with a soft tissue injury, Center will likely be questionable. What's the odds Scruggs doesn't last the game? Any word who would be next up? Kendrick Green, I'm guessing.

Stop lol. I think he's playing great and yet I think he can play even better. There are 3-4 throws a game that he just misses. Not Stroud like, and I think he will hit those in the long run. #InStroudWeTrust
 
If you give CJ time… he will be accurate, make the right decision. Block them up O-Line. The Vikings lack speed on the perimeter. Let them run.

This was the one game early in the schedule that concerned me. They're going to need a little luck to win today.
 
Around this time last season is when Cj hit his groove. I think this will be his best game of the young season so far. Texans 34 Vikings 17
 
Not real sure about this one - would feel better if we had a healthy Mixon back there.
Gonna need an all round game to beat the Vikes
 
Okay, let’s get this game going! Curious as to what kind of delay I’m going to be watching the game in? Watching the Painting Manning commercial.
 
I agree Mixon would be a blessing today, but sitting him might keep him on the field as the season plays out, rather than a season ending injury today!
