Week 17 Gameday: Texans at 49ers

It's official. Thanks to the results of the noon games here are the strength of schedules for the Saints, Texans and 49ers.

Saints - will finish .520 or .523 (Rams win) and clinch #1 if the Texans finish 3-13.
Texans - will finish .527 (Texans and Rams win), .531 (Texans or Rams win) or .535 (Neither Texans or Rams win)
49ers - will finish .535 (but this requires a Texans loss and Chicago loss and Rams loss), .539 (1 win of Texans, Bears, Rams), .543 (2 wins of Texans, Bears, Rams) or .547 (Texans AND Bears AND Rams win)

Is it really possible that they are worse then we are? Babin already has two sacks, the guy barely had two tackles all year long, now we block a punt? WTF?!?!

Babin is really bringing out.

Nice blocked kick by Walker. Looks like it will be hard for us to lose this one..

Blcoked punt!! Defintely the field position is in our favor - think we can bring it in from the 15?

See, Jason Babin couldnt do his spin move earlier in the season because he was injured. Now he can and he is getting results.

WALKER!!!

Thanks for the work on this Sarg01 - so looks like we've got 2nd or better locked up (except for the .535 scenario)

Niners I guess don't realize they'll be #3 regardless.
I was joking earlier but only the naive think that these guys don't play to win....they aren't fans...these guys are earning their paychecks.

49'ers tanking

They just need a better punter I guess.

I don't give a crap about the picks atm, I just want us to cream someone, It'll make me feel better ;)

Houston's gift to New Orleans after the hurricane is the number 1 pick in the draft cause we r gonna blow out fan fran

Yeah, a good blow-out would feel good, putting that "play it close till the 4th" mentality out the door.

We can't finish with .535 without losing. That would clinch #1 for us. So we have #2 wrapped up unless we somehow lose.

I think this last game of the season will have a big impact on next year. I think last year's demoralizing loss to Cleveland had an effect on this season.

They must've partied into the night in San Fran - that place is empty... even with a 3:00 game.

I'm sorry I have to read all these posts today......really sad this is what the Texans fan base has been reduced to.

I have ceased posting because of it.

can someone please tell me what the hell dom is thinking playing Carr today? What if he gets hurt? Why can't Ragone play instead?.. makes no sense to me.:brickwall

Its not 3pm in SF. Wouldnt kickoff be like at lunchtime for them? Posted to late, disregard.

Someone tell me why Morency was on the bench all season long???
He has the same coaches as Victor Riley, the guys that started Foreman and Corey Bradford for years, and the same coaches that brought in Stacey Mack, James Allen, Matt Stevens, and released Foley, Glenn and Sharper.

Is it possible for us to lead from begining to end? These guys look horrible, yet they beat the Rams.

I'm just glad Morency gets his chance. His performance will hopefully follow him into the offseason, and hopefully he'll be on the team next year too :)

Vinny... did Carr get his 8 million today before the game?
no....they need to sign him before the end of the NFL season...not the Texans season. It's a long way away from the end of the NFL season.
