Week 13: Texans vs Jaguars

I don't know about their stats but Trevor has done better than he showed this season. Point being it is much like CJ has regressed from last year. I will be happy with a win but this team is a joke as far as Super Bowl aspirations are concerned!
15 tds 9 ints hasn’t been the worse regression and no Super Bowl for them , this team struggled with 3 mediocre teams this season

Stroud has had clean pockets and still hasn’t done his job. Some of you are treating him like post Haynesworth Matt Schaub.
No one is perfect dude.
Look all around the league on any given Sunday and wide open receivers get missed every game even by the best QBs.
This kid is a sophomore in this league.
Give him a break.
Oh, and your comment cuts both ways i.e., quit expecting him to be Pat Mahomes.

I agree, some people want CJ gone and seem to be rabid about it.

Cause pre Haynesworth Schaub wasn't elite, but he was good enough to get the job done and deserved to stay.... Not sure you pass on Peyton if the rumors were true.... but... thats a different discussion.

And not forgetting Schaub had AJ.
Imagine if CJ had him?

We lost close games to the lowly Jets and Titans and won a few close games to the Colts and now two close games to the Jaguars. 15 TDs and 9 int's is quite pedestrian for a Super Bowl Qb if you ask me. Time for us to prepare for three strait blowouts after next weeks bye takes place! Maybe we can avenge our only divisional opponent that managed to beat us when we finish our season against the Tennessee Titans! We all should have known we would struggle to find our footing this year when compared to last year! I hope we can catch lightning in a bottle to end this season! Not likely but I will say Go Texans Super Bowl Champions this season!

To be fair. Until his last two games against the Raiders and Panthers, Mahomes had 15 TDs and 11 INTs. Now he is at 19 TDs and 11 INTs.

If they won against the Titans and Jets, even with 15 TDs and 9 INTs, we could still say he is not playing as well as last year and still feel better about this team.

The only comparison I'd make between the Chiefs and the Texans is that they are both lucky that their stats are not much worse
..........................the Chiefs for playing poorly and having the refs getting them out of troubles..................and the Texans for playing poorly with their opponents' level of competition being questionable and the opponents even playing worse (not to mention the home town unrelating penalties stupid penalties).

I for one like CJS and agree he fighting through some issues. He is a leader as shown by his going up to Scruggs and patting his helmet after Mixon shunned him for missing the block that would have been a td. He is a fighter and will become our longterm QB. just my thoughts

we need a ray lewis, jj watt on offense. no leadership. can’t expect a 23 yr old qb to be the biggest leader. Dissappointed in the gm and hc, to think tunsil is a great role model for our young line and qb. no leadership to hold guys accountable
It's real easy to blame Tunsil. What's wrong with the ol isn't Tunsils fault. Overall I thought the ol played pretty well today. Tunsil made 2 great blocks on the play before Mixon scored his TD and the play Mixon scored on. Scruggs is having issues.

I keep thinking that the Chef's level of play will catch up with them in the playoffs. I can only hope that the Texans are the ones delivering them the crushing loss...

Agreed, we shouldn't expect him to be as good as Mahomes. Where do you think we should set our expectations?
