No, hes not suppose to hold his hand. He’s a grown man. He’s a captain. Captains are suppose to lead by example. What example does that set for our young players? I get those type of plays happen and I like how azeez play but your team needing leadership in the biggest moments, you don’t expect bone head plays from your captains or vets.

If it started at the chest and shoulder as the hit is completed and slid up (it slid up because both players' momentum were carrying because both the slide and the tackle happened at the same time and momentum was still happening----physics) then how is it a cheap shot?

The issue….his angle of impact continued to follow Lawrence to the ground. If not this, then Shaair was going for his knees and Lawrence slid into the hit….not going to convince me of this. The slow-mo replay literally show Shaair coming elbow first to the Facemask area. He had enough time to bail out of the hit.
