Why? They were among the most penalized last season. DeMeco wants his team to play aggressive which leads to more penalties. But the presnap procedural stuff… I don’t think that is what he envisioned…

If im the Texans i go ahead and move Tunsil this off season. I know hes a good LT (mostly) and thats hard to replace but the OL needs a culture reset.

At this point it has to be above coaching. It’s cohesiveness, communication, intelligence, teamwork etc. and for whatever reason whatever they coach them up to at practice falls apart once they get between the lines. I just can’t see DeMeco turning a blind eye to this week after week
He's got no confidence .... he's knows what to expect from most plays .... kinda like knowing your death date .... it's hard to get it out of your mind !

Well that's what I mean. He's a sharp, meticulous guy. I know he's a first time head coach but nothing in his career would suggest a team performing like this. There's a difference between aggressive, tough, fast and energized and then reckless, undisciplined, and stupid.

Our line is not opening lanes when zone blocking, which is why Mixon tends to take the cutback lane. This is why the Titans and now Jags keep an LB back and waiting to attack the cutback lane.

That was a penalty. If the ball hits the DB in the head and he already has the WR wrapped up that ball hitting the DB in the should be a clear indicator.

He’s a defensive coach first and foremost. And his defense has been as you’d expect. True, he is a young HC and still needs to learn how to work with coaches on other sides of the ball. Similar to Kubiak before he got Wade.
Just terrible Slowik has had such a fall from grace after last season. Went from defacto HC to scapegoat in one season.
I have no idea. It was perfect definition of PI. He didn’t play the ball and he tackled him before the ball even got there.
Yep. If that's Collins, even with the bad pass, he goes up and makes that catch. Because of his size, Tank makes no attempt at any 50/50 ball.

It looked to me that the contact happened after the ball hit the defender in the helmet. As long as the contact happened after that, it's legal.
