Yes, now that I’m back home and watching rebroadcast, I will count and evaluate the merits. I appreciate having Cooks, and Ferguson seems to be an asset after losing Schultz.A real flag fest tonight
Hoping they will really thrive even better.Yes, now that I’m back home and watching rebroadcast, I will count and evaluate the merits. I appreciate having Cooks, and Ferguson seems to be an asset after losing Schultz.

Is Garrett playing today?49’ers put the Eagles on notice.
Switched back to the Rams game…..they scored after capitalizing on Flacco’s INT.

Games can't be fixed because the refs made 2 horrible calls on both teams in the final minutes of the SNF game. The personal foul against Mahomes was bullshit and the non call PI against Valdez-Scantling was bullshit.
There's no fixing. Refs are just horrible.
Exactly. The only part that I’d call “fixing” would probably be a scant one or two refs favoring their home team -unintentionally-. It’s the nature of the beast in us I guess.Games can't be fixed because the refs made 2 horrible calls on both teams in the final minutes of the SNF game. Yeah I get this. When I consider the flashing glimpse these refs get of any given play, often from several feet away and then being micro analyzed by super slow motion video of the play these complaints have to be mostly chalked up to the human frailty of the senses. It’s the world we live in. Everybody is whining about getting screwed except of course when they are on the receiving end Of the benefit. It'd be great if the general fan could understand this.
What the league could stand to gain from any manipulating of the outcomes of games pales, by a bananas margin, to what they stand to lose by being exposed by being caught. It's the most financially upside down unreasonable consideration imaginable.
F*ck*ng hell, super bowls won by Kansas City, Tampa Bay, or Green Bay being the norm or more so vs franchises in NY, LA, or CHI.. what the f*ck conspiracy are you really blabbering about?
Not only that but often I find myself saying… how in the heck was he able to correctly call that. Being a ref is an unforgiving and punitive job for sure.Yeah I get this. Most fans are watching on TV, with multiple camera angles and super slo-mo. Everyone is an officiating authority because of that. It'd be great if the general fan could understand this.

The refs are humans watching in real time trying to do the job to the standard they were told. "Watch for defensive holding", "Look for this illegal shift", "Err on the side of safety". I think it's too much, too fast, too ambiguous a job to do correctly. I'd like to give a solution in the next paragraph, but I don't have one handy.

My main grief is that even with replay from the booth and even the league office now, they stop the game and still get it wrong. They have the slo-motion and stop action to go by that the refs don't have. The league needs to dictate more camera coverage and technology so there is no blind spots and just get it right and remove any talk of rigged games and incompetent refs.I agree with this. I co-signed the notion that the refs are flat out terrible, when my opinion is more that it's a very challenging job and they're always gonna get some wrong, and sometimes really wrong to the point you want to lay entire blame for the outcome.
The biggest point though was that there is no fix, there's merely unavoidable human error.

The away from the play illegal contact penalties are the worst. Why even call those? And why not call offensive illegal contact or PI on rub routes? Game needs to be fairThe very subjective nature of some of these calls, a lot of times there is no “right”…but if u allow the ticky tack stuff to fall by the wayside and only call the really egregious stuff, the refs likely not only get easier decisions to flag, & they likely throw less flags for a more enjoyable & fair game for both the offense and defense. This is the issue the NBA has right now…some games they are calling it tight…some games they’re letting everything go except the really bad stuff & as a result you can’t get any consistency.
All the hand fighting downfield..if the WR’s wanna initiate it with the db in order to create space, then the db should be allowed to grab on & hold them too…I mean after all the DB’s are supposed to have every right to the ball as the WR does once the ball is in the air, but what happens most times is the DB gets flagged for PI for bumping into the WR accidentally if a ball is either underthrown or if he’s looking up tracking it in the air.
Just coming to say this Browning kid looking good but you beat me to itBengals new QB has looked decent so far. It'd be nice if they could beat the jags for us.
