Watson cant play football

The whole organization is just an unmitigated disaster.

After his time with the Brown **** stains is over, Watson will likely go somewhere and be a backup for a few years, get his mental together and then resurface as a starter for a team down the road whose in need of a good veteran qb to just not cost them games and play
good solid ball… ala Mike Vick…Geno Smith…Baker Mayfield…...Sam Darnold.

All while the Browns will be busy ruining their latest highly touted 1st round draft pick QB. It’s just what they do.

People forget that prior to Baker getting labeled as a malcontent and subsequently being shipped off, Stefanski had that dude out there playing through a torn shoulder labrum and broken bone in his arm..which led to him playing some of the worst ball of his career. Even Dorian Thompson-Robinson in the little time he played last year..out injured due to taking too many big hits in Stefanski’s scheme.

The team is just bad and the o-line in particular is AWFUL. but NOONE has played/coached/GM’ed up to their potential.

He was the qb that they went into the playoffs with...reality is they had 3 qbs win games for them last year including DW4 who was 5-1 & the rookie DTR who was 1-1. Flacco hardly “led” them anywhere. They won off the strength of their defense. I know it hurts your heart to admit that but dems the facts playboy.

But even if you credit him with “leading” them, He promptly led them back home with the 2 pick 6’s he threw against us. Flacco giveth and Flacco taketh away.

So how did you say Flacco benefitted from a great defense but give Watson credit for being 5-1 with the same defense and with a lower QB rating than Flacco? Also funny how Flacco again looks way better than Watson this year too.

I’m not saying DW4 DIDNT benefit from it..but to act like the team was in shambles until Flacco became the starter as if he was the difference in them making the playoffs is disingenuous. He stabilized the position due to DW4 and DTR’s injuries, nothing more.

And go tell Colts fans how good Flacco looks lol. Watson’s not playing well..that much is agreed upon. But let’s not act like that Browns team is a qb away. The defense isn’t playing anywhere close to the level it was last year, they have no run game to speak of without Chubb, the o-line is a mash unit and with the trade of Cooper, they they REALLY have nothing outside to threaten defenses vertically.

His arm might be done.. he might have the Cam Newton thing going on. But given the history of former Browns’ qbs going elsewhere and miraculously playing better, or at the very least looking much better than they did when they played there, there’s a distinct possibility his arm might not be done and he’s fine. But even in Newton’s case, he still was able to go and play for the Patriots a few years after his shoulder surgery rendered him not the same guy.

It’s the same team from last year. Literally. You’re making excuses for the fact the Browns players did not want Watson back. They clearly HATE him.

I’m certain that you shouldn’t be bragging as if this is a victory lap. This current “settled” case doesn’t need the victim’s cooperation for HPD to file charges and has a 10 year statue of limitation as it is a rape allegation. By the way, there are more cases out there that are even more egregious.

And the Browns players may not want him back, but like the jets found out this past week…and all those other years when they tried to lay the blame all at the feet of Zach Wilson….& countless other teams in years past found out, they’ll find out that their issues run much deeper than DW4. They’re not good.

Yeah yeah yeah…you were absolutely certain the last time too. my life wont change 1 iota no matter what happens with that dude. The only reason I’m even discussing this clown is b/c a few of u guys who are obsessed with him keep posting crap in these threads about him…and starting new 1’s to boot…and those threads keep popping up every time I refresh the website for new posts. If I could stop that from happening and not see the threads I’d be happy as a clam.

But Why don’t you put your law degree up that you got out of the Cracker Jack box up and just move on to something else. Having this much hatred and obsession for a person is quite unhealthy.

Except it’s a team sport and there are COUNTLESS examples where your qb IS good and the team still sucks. You should know that considering we dealt with this very issue in 2020 ironically WITH DW4 when he passed for 4000 yards 30 TDs and we went 4-12.

But please, tell me how simple it is…you’re on a roll.

It’s the most important position on the field..but it’s not the only position on the field.

What examples of a franchise QB are there where the QB is potentially going 2-14 one season and 2-15 another season?

Several. All you have to do is look at the countless number of 1st round QBs that didn’t pan out. Whether it’s 2-14, 4-12 or 0-16. Franchise QBs are just a piece of what it takes to be a winning franchise. They’re not the only piece.

I asked you which QBs had those sort of seasons Watson had as a losing QB. You have yet to provide examples. You made the argument. So like an adult, show your work.

I’m grown son, I have no need to show u anything. But If YOU knew anything about the league, you’d know it was a fairly common thing..especially with guys drafted in the 1st who are tasked to “save” the franchise from itself. They’re deemed franchise QBs….until they’re not.

DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. I’ll even help you. Start with the myriad of Browns QBs since they came back. You’ll probably find 2-3 right there.

You said other QBs have had bad seasons like Watson but cannot support your own argument by providing one example. Not even one. Well maybe, it’s because no other “franchise” QB has had multiple seasons of losing at least 14 games. That could very well be the reason you are having trouble.

lol, or maybe you’re just too dumb to comprehend that most of those guys who do have even 1 season like that don’t even make it to start another full season where they last that long b/c they get benched. But then too they also dont put up the numbers DW4 put up in that same season either b/c once again they’re terrible. It’s a team record not an individual player record genius.

As it stands now DW4 hasn’t even had 2 seasons like that but I’m sure you’re wishing on a star that happens. And guess what, he’ll still be paid and you’ll still be here butthurt.
