If you're thinking SS, Sydney Brown Illinois is very intriguing.
"The Illinois secondary is absolutely stacked with talent. Devon Witherspoon is the best of the bunch — a potential Round 1 cornerback in waiting. But there’s also Jartavius Martin, Kendall Smith, and senior safety Sydney Brown, who could be one of the group’s biggest sleepers.
Brown was a premier playmaker this past season, accumulating 6 interceptions and 7 pass deflections in a talent-dense defensive backfield. At 6’0″, 205 pounds, Brown has great density, and that shows in tackling situations. His speed and ability to convert at his size, however, is a compounding factor."
I think he can be had with #101 - but to be safe, a little move up might be needed.

I thought our secondary was pretty good last year - in spite of the terrible scheme - and I don't see the need to spend a day 1 or 2 pick on it. The best way to improve the secondary is with a pass rush - Edge, DL, LB.

I really don't think Texans will spend a high pick on DB - Stingley should be good to go after a full off season. They may get an insurance pick a little lower so a Moss type pick could definitely be on the cards. SS is a spot they may target, but not in the first few picks unless they think he's a slam dunk.

Watch this guy's subtle one cut move and tell me he doesn't remind you of Arian Foster.
He's currently ranked in the #165 - #170 range.
May need to combine #174 & #191 to move up a tad to get him.
 

Nick Hamptonout of Appalachian State is interesting. He’s a high motor 4-3 guy. I believe he’ll be competing at the Senior Bowl, so it’ll be great to see how he performs versus the bigger program guys.

I really like Hampton. He is listed as an edge rusher but he can be used as a Mike LB or hand in the dirt.

UAB’s Starling Thomas V is making noise at the Shrine Bowl practices. I don’t know much about him. He’s a slot corner that measured in at 5’9. In 1v1’s he only allowed 1 catch for 5 yards and had 3 PBUs. He could be someone to take a deeper look at.

They should. RB is a position with a high injury risk. But, I would also like to see a vet that can help in the passing game. Both as a receiver and able to pickup the blitz. That would really help a young QB.

But the vet RB has to be able to play RB. That means no Rex Burkhead, Nick.

I'm hoping Ryans brings in McKinnon because he knows the WCO and drafts Achane because he's a threat to score anytime he touches the ball.

This RB corps sure looks a lot better than the Pierce/Burkhead/Obi RB corps.
 
Marte Mapu the LB out of Sacramento St is apparently making a name for himself at the Senior bowl. He could potentially be a good addition on the defense.

That article shows Spears as playing for Tulsa, but he played at Tulane.

I like S Trey Dean.

They must have been going off of practices for this article. They didn't mention the guys that actually performed the best in the games.
 

Has anyone looked at Tyler Scott WR Cincinnati? He’s supposed to have great speed <4.4.

This guy should be a weapon transitioning to the slot after lining up next to the QB.
Has terrific hands and runs routes like a WR so is a genuine dual threat back.
