speculation from a TEXANS prespective is never based on "POOR" logic. It's based on common sense.
You take away Clowney, It's harder on JJ... Simple.

How did JJ Watt do the year that Mercilus had a great year?
Clowney is going to get BETTER this year...
BTW, I'd love to know the back story to you having Rob Zombie as your avatar.Don't get me wrong Mrs Clowney. I'd love for your grandson to retire a Texans. But it's business.

First: God you’re old JB, that being said....
Second: Yes they are far better. Stairway to Heaven maybe the greatest rock song ever though I prefer Fool in the Rain.
Now back to football. Anyone else notice how many of our great up and coming moves for the rest of this off season require other teams to do things they have given no sign they are going to do? Washington releasing Willians, NE not blocking Caserio, hell king Tut over there even thinks Jerry Jones is going to release Zeke.
Sad state when we are the damn Oliver Twist of the NFL. Please sir will you release this person so we can play football with you.
you prefer fool in the rain, but what do you prefer when your NOT in the rain?
I never said Jerry Jones was going to "RELEASE" Zeke, just let him walk... It's been speculated before I even posted it and so the topic isn't unprecedented.
First, that was a really weak sauce attempt at a dig.
Second, release or walk it doesn’t matter Cowboys aren’t letting Zeke go and even if they did why would we be the ones to sign him.
But this thread is about another pipe dream and that’s Williams as a Texan let’s leave the Zeke as a Texan pipe dream in the other thread.
Firstly, you never answered my question... So your just being RUDE!
Secondly, the difference between release and walk DOES matter on account of someone being CUT or letting someone walk because of CAP space.
Lastly, nice politics play on the thread rules. I'm going to have to ask you to stop mentioning my Zeke hypothesis in this thread or I'll have to report you quicker then an illegal immigrant on federal property.
Cocbar and ThuderBisch
You both know Clowney is going to get signed here, right?
Clowney is ESSENTIAL to our regional growth in SC. A state where our Franchise is most hated.
Clowney deal is going to get done. SAY IT WITH ME!
Yeah, not my style

You asked a question? Must have missed it within your rambling. As has been pointed out to you already Cowboys have almost as much cap space as us so yes they can resign Zeke.
Please by all means report me, I would love to see the results of that actually.
I was going to make a comment about how stupid this post was then in a moment of curiosity I clicked your profile and saw you promoting your youtube channel. Seeing as that moment of curiosity hadn’t passed I checked it out and realized I was most likely dealing with a kid.
This explains everything so please by all means carry on.
P.S. Your highlight video of us beating KC in the preseason was ironic on so many levels. Also L2P on Fortnite.
We are 2nd in cap space right now with 40 million and Dallas is "15th" in Cap space with 19 Million
Tell me again how the cowboys have as much cap space as the Texans
You need to look @ 2020, not 2019
Your article that you posted by @dannyphantom even talks about looking at the aspect of the cowboys letting go of Zeke...

Yes it does, I never said it didn't, just like articles here talk about letting Clowney go or any team talks about letting an impact players coming up on a new contract go. Hell there was even talk in NE about letting Brady walk in favor of switching to Jimmy G. The point wasn't about keeping him or not it was that they can afford to keep him.
The Cowboys won't be able to keep Zeke and their WR and Prescott at that high amount. One will have to walk, unless they're fine letting the rest of their team walk on their contracts where they'll end up having a ton of holes. Their best bet would be to trade Zeke while he still has value to someone who wants to pay him and draft another RB behind a strong Line. Much easier to replace that position.
You can only pay so many players huge dollars on their contracts. Once a QB gets what Dak gets, it becomes very difficult to stack your team. Ask the Packers.
In most cases I would agree but Zeke allows a lot of pressure to be taken off of Dak. Dak hasn't shown that he can carry a team like a Watson has where if you can't trust in a strong run game you can win it with the air game. I don't see Dallas letting Zeke walk and sure has hell not if he might come here.
I'm not saying they'll let him walk. They'll likely pay him. THey'll have to let their WR walk most likely then and not pay him. If they pay him too, their defense will suffer talent wise and maybe their Oline eventually too. You can only pay certain skill players the highest amount at their positions.
Yes Zeke is great, but he's still a RB. That's the most replaceable position in the NFL if you have a strong Oline. SB winning teams almost never have an elite RB. Seattle was the only one I can think of in the last 15 yrs.
Jerry Jones has stabbed both Dez and Romo in the back..
Somebody break out the banhammer.
Does such even exist anymore?
