TNF: Denver @ KC

Is this officially the beginning of the end for Peyton Manning, or does he silence the doubters and get back on track? What say you?

It was brutal watching PM at at LOS last week. Interested to see if he streamlines it.

KC I thought the team to beat in AFC West this year. Tonight is their litmus test, as they haven't beaten DEN since 2011 season.

I've got Jamal Charles in fantasy. He's underperformed vs. Broncos, but can't bench a stud.

Anybody else think the talking-head official is sounding like an apologist for this crew?

Gary put a pinto engine in a Ferrari. That's the way I feel about the personnel on the Broncos running Kubiaks washed up offensive scheme. Smh.

What has Kubiak done to Manning? This is awful to watch. Where's the crazy hand gestures? Where's the audibles? Where's the "Omaha"? Manning looks like Schaub. Two pick 6s in 5 quarters? I'm starting to think this is the coach and not the player

Ol Wade got that defense looking good.

That defense was built for him. Penetrating front, experienced rush OLB's, coverage/range ILB's and man to man corners. They should be pretty dang good this year. Offense is going to take a year or two to look like Kubiak's, mostly on the offensive line.

The Texans wear all red and they're ketchup bottles. The Chiefs wear it and nobody say a freaking thing. Go figger.

The Chiefs unis have bright Ferrari red appearance with a lot more contrasting white. The Texans unis have a darker duller maroon (ketchup) red with less contrasting white.................and the moniker of "Battle Red" has translated into "Bottle Red" then extrapolating to "Ketchup Bottle (Red)."

Yeah, lol. This is turning into the game I thought it would be. Tight, tighter, tightest.

Watching Derrick Johnson pisses me off something fierce. If I meet Casserly I'd kick him square in the junk for trading that pick and ending up with Travis Johnson.

Anyone else feel like firing John Fox wasn't their best move?

Elway drew a line in the sand. SB or bust. They didn't make it and he followed through. I can't really blame him for that. That franchise has completely sold out on winning now.

The Kubiak hire made no sense though. I never envisioned him and Manning making that offense work together at optimum efficiency. Kubiak wants too much control and that limits the effectiveness of a guy like Manning because he thrives on being in control and manipulating on the fly.

Alex Smith is 16 of 25 for 191 yards, 0 TDs, 2 Ints.

Jamal Charles has 124 yards on the ground, with a long of 34 & a TD.

I didn't think it was a good pairing when Manning was 1st mentioned for the Texans but Manning apparently disagrees.

What I keep hearing is that Elway thought Fox's approach was too soft and was on his way out, it really would've taken a Superbowl to keep him. The Kubiak hire was less about Manning than it was a more long term approach. The goal now is to blend the two as much as possible and make a run of course, but Elway is thinking about the post-Manning era.

This would be a non issue if Manning's accuracy hadn't taken a nose dive, he's missing wide open players. The long ball, bootlegs and sideline leads are especially bad, leaving a lot of points on the field.

I'm pretty ignorant with quarterbacks, can someone explain why so many of Manning's passes are nose down?

I heard a QB (can't remember which) say that came from have a little push with his palm.

Manning has always thrown one of the uglier wobblier balls around.
