The Last Picture Show....er....preseason game

I would think we have a lot more to learn about Pierce, brooks and Taylor who would have to fill in for Akers if he needlessly gets injured today.

They are flirting with disaster with this stupid crap. On the previous third down pass, Case and the receiver failed to hook up in the glare zone too. It's gotta be frustrating as hell. Your running your route.. no sun, no sun, and then you turn around to catch a pass and are blinded by the surface of the sun. It's ******* stupid, complete minor league B.S.

Yeah, there’s so much going on in a game like this, many interesting stories and a whole bunch of guys all with so much upside who are going to be finding a new career Monday morning and these clowns are banging on about what middle name they’d give the QB.

A little overboard I think. Teams play with shadows and sun all over the NFL. And judging by the shadows of the players in the sun, it appears to be shining straight down. So I seriously doubt it’s effecting anyone’s vision, unless they’re in the sun part looking straight up.
 
I hope when the full starting front 7 is in the game we are able to handle the middle better than we showed there, I know it’s the backups but that defensive series was exactly what was worrying about how this team was built this off-season, can’t pass outside, and might get plenty of pressure off the edge, but if its all open over the middle it looks like a walkover.

which was the biggest surprise to me....there is no way in hell that he's outplayed Akers for the #2 spot...thats just sad. I'll be pissed if he crowned and given RB2 when he hasnt deserved it and Akers doesnt make the roster...I'll be beyond pissed.

You don't see the sun reflecting like a search light off the players equipment/helmets.. cause I sure as hell do. And players that play in those arenas dress for it.. they don't play on a field 90% controlled, with 10 yards of WTF.

Posted in the other thread, but Akers/Jordan/Brooks all looked great so far this game, all seem able to take what the OL create for them, any would be a huge shame to see cut in favour of Pierce.

Experience. He has very little of it. I like him too but I think he is a longshot to open on the 53. We could see him later if he can clear waivers and get to the Ps.
