The Actual And Real 2016 Texans' Talk Mock Draft Extravaganza

This is in keeping with my philosophy of picking talented but injured/troubled players late in the draft. If you hit you've got a 1st/2nd rd talent. If you miss you lose a late 5th rd pick. Win big/lose little proposition.

You should focus on guys recently charged of rape / assaults. Also guys already in the drug program.

With the 175th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft the San Diego Chargers select; Ronald Blair, DE Appalachian St;.... as a senior in 2015 as the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year with a team-best 19.0 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks, adding a career-high 71 tackles and his first career interception (returned for a touchdown).

I wouldn't draft guys that have a rape charge hanging over their head. If they went to court and were found not guilty I would draft them in a heartbeat.

The drug program thingy, you bet I would draft them in a heartbeat. That's how you find a 1st rd talent like Justin Houston in the 3rd rd. Let me roll the dice on a flawed Houston instead of a turd like Sam Montgomery any day.

BTW, somebody is going to draft these talented guys and you're going to have to compete against them so all you're really doing with the chior boy philosophy is tying your hands behind your back by limiting the pool of really talentd guys you can select. (Which leads to mediocrity)

lol, guess we all see things differently.

Of course, you're implying that means all the best football players are undisciplined dope-heads and criminals.

I don't buy it. My response is MANZIEL.

I'm not implying anything. You do your research and if you like the guy you draft him.

I think the old ESPN Playmakers show was a pretty good representation of a normal NFL lockerroom. Feel free to disagree with me. Remember most of these guys come from underprivileged backgrounds where drug usage is a daily way of life.

I'm not going to respond anymore because I dont want to derail this thread. If you want to discuss this further we can talk about it in the NFL thread.

The Titans select James Cowser- DE Southern Utah.

A bit undersized but plays with a relentless motor. Big Sky defensive player of the year who broke several of Jared Allen's records including career sacks (43)and tackles for loss (80)

There is one player he gave on his list the other day that I am not seeing having been picked - Jatavis Bryant, LB Akron.

Should we select him and move on?

If it was on his list. Just hoping we can get to Oaklands pick by 3, but doubt it lol
Just to clear things up. Should that be Bryant or Brown? I have him listed both ways.

The Bryant is probably in error. Usually it's the other way around. Bryant is changed to Brown. I've had to correct that all my life.

Buccaneers select Jake Coker, QB, Alabama

Glennon's contract is up at the end of 2016 and although they've talked about extending it, I don't think they will and I think they'd trade him for a late 3rd or 4th rounder. I still think that will probably happen.

I like Coker to develop behind Winston, once again.

That was going to be the NY Giants last pick in the the draft.

For the sake of keeping things moving since I won't be here, and this late in the draft im a little out of my element just give the Raiders the top dl prospect or kick returner on the board come their pick I'll be back late tonight or tomorrow
