Here we go. The most "realest" preseason game of them all.

Gambling addicts have told me the Texans are favored by 3. If you find yourself placing bets on preseason games you might want to seek help here.

Here's hoping that this time around Jared Allen doesn't get any free shots to our QB tonight.

Will be shown locally on channel 39 (According to my DirecTV anyway). Hopefully the feed won't be a huge joke like channel 13 has been giving us.

Not on Directv. My guide has the CMA awards showing on ABC 13. It has the game on 39, but I'll just watch it on ESPN, that way I don't get the local news channel plug every commercial break. I don't know if they do that on 39, but it aggrevates the hell out of me the way that 13 does it. Those guys can't seem to get enough face time......:bat:
 
Did anyone ever hear the reason why Ch.13 didn't high-def the last two games?
 
I cant wait for this game. We will get to see the starters for the majority of the game, and get a glimpse of what this team can do. I am not looking forward to the announcers gush over Favre though. :texflag:

Oh, and no Channel 13 1950's broadcast! :jam::cool:

Utterly OT, but I absolutely cannot stand Channel 11's new ad campaign. The song drives me to mute it immediately. I don't know how I'm going to take it during the season.

I think Mexican soccer when I watch Texans preseason. I absolutely don't mean anything racist by that -- I watch Mexican football all the time. Just saying the TV quality is on that level, but without the GOOOOOOOOALLLLLLLLLLS!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for this game to start. I'm pumped about the broadcast team too. Wasn't very excited to hear that Gruden was joining MNF but he has impressed me big time, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the banter between him and Jaworski during the Giants Panthers game a couple weeks ago. Thats saying something considering the Texans weren't playing and it was preseason.

Ditka has strong reservations about Favre coming to the Vikings, especially what it does for their team chemistry. He says they supposedly brought him in to win the Super Bowl, and in order to do so, he has to be there for 19 games........and he doesn't see him being there for any close to that many games.

I agree with him.............it's possible that Favre may not even make it out of this game. :pirate:
