Texans Vs Saints Gameday Thread

The offense was off the field on that FGA, no?

They were off the field whether Brown made the kick or not. Are you saying they should have gone for it on fourth down??

If you wanted Brown to miss so Rackers would be ahead in this competition, I get that. I'd just rather see us get some points.

One thing that concerns me with Rackers is his leg strength. 52yard FG and he barley made it. Brown has plenty of leg strength but his accuracy is a concern

Yeah, that's a fair point, but with this offense the problem hasn't been getting closer than the 52-yard FG range. Not finishing the drives is a bigger issue to me. Brown is stronger, but he was the worst 16-game kicker in the NFL last year. He only had 4 attempts from beyond 50 and missed 2 of them.

I'll take Rackers' shorter range.

Great run by Slaton and then the obligatory late hit that follows every good Slaton play. Great YAC by Anderson on the last play.

Time for some Booty and Jeramiah?

Orlovsky looks much improved over last preseason.
Dude has a rocket arm. All he needs is the seasoning
in his headspace.

Good grief! Orlovsky's in his 6th season in the NFL. If he was going to get it, he would have gotten it by now.
