In all honestly, I didn't even know the Texans played today. Shows how much I follow preseason...

i know holliday effed up and gave away that 2nd TD...but still...either the Texans pee-pees shrank or the Cards are absolute crapola.

sorry...not chalking this up to "it's just pre-season".....ummmm...all those guys should have learned their lesson when they saw A. Peterson tear us up last year in the P. Season and then that continue to be a trend in the reg. season.

Not trying to act like all is lost no........but......not excited about what i have seen......we left how many #1's in there and still got ate up...

I'm thinking the two turnovers giftwrapped 10-14 points for the Saints. Holliday's muff gave a top five offense the ball inside the 20.

Foster's fumble probably cost us at least 3, maybe 7.

Turnovers continue to kill us.
And did we get any in response?

Preseason does mean something. It means we haven't improved enough over last year to dethrone the Colts. With our schedule, we can't hope for a wildcard either.

But at least we know we'll have a better season than the Cardinals.

This wasn't a typical preseason week. The Texans had to travel to another team's camp and had some heated practices. It shouldn't be surprising that they came out flat.

If the Texans trounce the Cowboys next week, fans will trumpet them as a Super Bowl contender. It's preseason, and stuff like that happens.
 
You know one of the big stories coming into this game was that Wade Smith was getting the start at LG over Studdard. Of course, the offense only ran 17 plays in the 1st half so we didn't really get to judge that competition. Running game was good today though when Foster was in.
 
I know it's preseason--but we look horrible: 1st team included. Matt S. taking all day to make a decision and getting sacked. Holliday with major butterfingers, Foster turning the ball over, our defense can't make a tackle. Just reminds me of our first year with Dom Capers. So frustrating---we think we're good then we play a really good team like the saints or colts and get smacked down--preseason or regular season. :gun:

Let's give a great team like the saints a couple of freebie turnovers and 14 gravy points, yeah, thats the ticket.
