Agreed. Rush's dirt throws were the smartest plays in those situations, especially when he decided to not let his defenseless receiver get clobbered at the LOS.

I didn't want to say this until I saw more evidence, but I suspect Demeco's pass rushers intentionally reserve their full aggression and their best pass rush moves until the 4th quarter. It would strategically make sense because it freezes the opponent's momentum at the most critical moment. I'm not 100% certain this is the case, but worth tracking.

I was thinking something similar. His pass rush is controlled until he gets them 1 dimensional. Early in the game he's going to keep Goff & Allen & whoever pinned in & make them dink & dunk down the field while taking away the run. & when they give up on the run he let's them boys eat.

Nice win. Injuries have been brutal this year but team is 7 and 4 despite the adversity.

They were much better last year but this year got away from them. Jerry Jones needs to determine if coach McCarthy lost them. If he does then the axe should fall on him!

Jerry Jones GMing is the main problem...didn't replace players throughout the line-up to sign their true superstars.

Scruggs was blocking air on that play. It was ridiculous.

Was that Patterson's 1st responsibility or LG's? How did he do the rest of the game? Overall, the oline did better in my opinion.

That post-game presser (JJ's) is the most league-friendly, cognizant, safe, realist interview I've ever seen... (and yeah, in between the lines is where everything is said).... that 4th & and a half or 5th dimension kinda communication.

Patterson clearly focused to the right but had his left arm fully extended to feel for the defender to his left. Which to me, meant he expected Scruggs to pick this guy up and had the block moved his responsibility towards him he could’ve disengaged and helped.

It was one play, Patterson and Scruggs will get better with more time on the field.

Of a bigger note, Tunsil has to stop these befuddling penalties. Howard and Mason have been a resounding disappointment. I’d have absolutely zero issues if Ryans and Strausser decided to give Broeker and Fisher a shot at shoring up the right side of the OL.

Did Broeker get any snaps against Dallas? Hopefully Fisher will return from concussion protocols soon and be 100%.

I thought Mason and Howard had their best games this yr against the Cowboys.
