Texans vs Cowboys

The Marine

Monday Night Football is Texas-sized this week as the Texans and Cowboys meet in Dallas.

Houston is 6-4 on the season and first place in the AFC South. The Texans have lost three of the past four games, including two straight to the Jets (21-13) and Lions (26-23). The Texans are without a plethora of offensive weapons and have lost two straight on the road.

Dallas is in turmoil at 3-6 on the year and losers of four straight. The Cowboys have lost three straight games out of the bye week and one prior all by six or more points. Dallas is 0-4 at home on the year and are without Dak Prescott. Dallas started Cooper Rush and he finished with 45 passing yards versus Philadelphia.

Colts remaining schedule is pretty easy. Lose this and I will question our playoff hopes. Hope our defense has a historic night. I want our offense to click this game especially in the 2nd half.
In the back of my mind, I want us to win only putting up 10 points and hoping our 2nd half offense remains scoreless of tds so the elephant in the room can be addressed.

The Cowboys are averaging 19.7 points per game and 4.9 yards per play, have converted 35.9% of their third-down opportunities and have scored touchdowns on 41.7% of their red zone trips. A quarterback guru, McCarthy's QBs this season -- Dak Prescott, Cooper Rush and Trey Lance -- have a combined 43.3 Total QBR.

No way !
The Cowboys haven't played a football game in Dallas for 25 years, 35 years, whatever ?

I think that we are going to kick azz and take names. We have been embarrassed the last two weeks and I think they will want to show them just who we are. I hope Slow goes all go and no brakes for the whole game.

If the Texans go for the hat trick of humiliation I will treat my positive side like a horror movie villain.

I will kill it, dismember it, set it on fire, pee on the ashes, freeze it into cubes, mail each individual cube to all corners of the Earth, cover some in concrete and throw them in the lakes, rivers and oceans and send some hurtling through space where not even Elon Musk can find them.... never to return again.

Of course, next season being a sequel... all bets are off as the horror movie baddie always makes a return.... .....

The best was when Jason got blown to bits by some government strike force and then his severed heart starting beating on the corner's table, compelling some guy to scarf it down like a cheeseburger 😂

They just don't make good movies anymore.

If Bobby learned anything this past week by watching the cowboys on film is that they suck against the run. Stroud shouldn’t have more than 22/25 attempts Monday night!
Mixon should have a huge night
I was talking about daring the tackles to miss a snap

Bad Boy, speaking of Blake Fisher, do you see him as a future - high quality tackle ?
Absolutely...
Depending on coaching and I am uncertain if Strausser is the guy. If Howard isn't the guy, right tackle for Fisher. As I mentioned some time ago, if we can draft pure left side Wyatt Milum in April, I prep him to eventually replace Tunsil. 2025 may have him pushing for LG.

Dallas game should tell us if the line is going to work with focus on Scruggs and Howard.

I've seen little to say Scruggs can be future at LG.

Tunsil, Milum, Patterson, Mason and Fisher.
