Texans Vs Buccaneers Gameday Thread

Hopefully McMannis can excel in special teams or he will be joining Fred Bennett in the unemployment line.
 
Sheppard hasn't played much so far, only nickel pckgs, maybe 2nd half he plays more, Okam, Robinson ...300 lbs. not showing me anything and they've played the whole game, if Sheppard gets the snaps in the 2nd half i'm sure he'll make more plays than these guys.
 
Good: Nolan, Johnson, O-line, Mitchell, Dickerson, Adibi and Sharpton, TE's, FB from Rutgers (hope they can get him on the PS...Actually wouldn't mind seeing him kept as a fourth RB/st player)

Ok:Okam, Orvlosky, Bentley, Jamison, Barwin, Henry

Not Ok: McMannis, Reeves, Barber

i know but that barely cleared the bar. he wouldnt have had a shot at a 56 yder. KB has kicked those before just was too focused on accuracy imo. if he had tried to gun that and it had shanked wide his chances of losing his job would be alot higher than a straight kick that falls short. rackers rarely attempts 50 yd + in his career and its not a coincidence

I don't like what is going on with this game however, I am interested in watching our young D to find out our depth. (Man, it seems we really need quality back up QB)

Right and it did clank, but I say if we really want to see, have him do another. If he makes it then why wouldn't you go with him?
 
Brown might have lost his job just on that one kick alone due to the lack of chances for both of them. LOL

I don't think they will hold coming up short on a 57 yd fg against him. He was dead on, and would have made a 54 yder
