In fairness to Winston, he absolutely pancaked and wiped his ass with the Steelers o-lineman he was on.

He didn't do it at halftime, IMO, like I said he needed to.

He waited until it was almost too late. Which is typical. He'd show up late to his own funeral, and tap the church podium with an "Aw shucks, it's on me" tacked onto the end.

Not sure where to find one of those though.

If you think about it the Broncos were always supposed to be plug and play but while those other backs would get their 1,000 yards and seem to roll on they never made enough of a difference to replace Terrell Davis or throw the Bronco's on their back and win another championship

Nothing's changed. Kubiak is still a great OC and a lousy HC. Wade is still a great DC and a lousy HC. Offense still fades out in the 4th until they prove otherwise. Defense still isn't stopping anybody in the 4th....

If Kareem was a decent CB, and if we had better depth there, Jason Allen could play Safety alongside Manning. I'm serious.

I happened to have lived in Denver during the Bronco back to back Super Bowls. The difference is, Mike Shanahan will eat his child if it meant winning a game. The Bronco's stepped on opponents necks and didn't let up. They also had John Elway, who, despite his "nice guy" outward appearance, was a fierce competitor on the football field.
