Texans v Eagles gameday thread

If you combined Quin, Jackson, and McCain into one person you might have one below-average NFL CB.
 
I'm kind of surprised that the Eagles didn't go for it on 4th and 2. That's almost a given against this line-up. Good stop though.
 
I wish I knew where all you guys live! I swear I would send you ALL some happy juice or something. Damn!! You all are so friggin negative tonight you are making me want to scream. Instead, I'm logging off and I'll just watch this game by myself. I'm NO Texan homer either, but, geeeeezzzz guys, wait until the forth quarter to blast your team with such hate and disgust!!
 
Oh my, Theisman just said that the Texans are a 60 minute football team.
I guess he hasn't watched any of them this year.

I actually never gave up hope for Quin......I think he has the skill and the mindset to be a very solid player....he just lacks the coaching. He was better as a small school project, than he is as a 2nd year NFL player.
 
We better not take a knee at the last possession before half again. Not even Kubiak can say 3 minutes is not enough time to mount a drive.
 
Almost identical to what Allen did to Schaub a couple of years ago. Glad Schaub wasn't screwed that time.

Agreed. If we get a legitimate Defensive Coordinator next year I would expect TREMENDOUS improvement from him from proper coaching alone.
 
This is going to be one of those damn games where I end up watching and they screw the pooch in the 4th.

Even though I can already tell that they are going to play like ****.
 
I figured I'd be ready to go to bed at halftime, the way the first quarter went, but since it looks like the Texans finally showed up I'll keep on watchin'.

Go Texans!! 7 more before the half!
 
You know if we are going to give up a ton of yards ( and you know we are ) then why not at least teach these guys to strip the ball. That's really the only way we are going to stop anyone! I guess that's asking alot of guys that can't even wrap their arms around to make a tackle. It really looks like our guys close their eyes when tackling. But hey Frank Bush is doing a fine job!
 
The problem is not only balance but he seems to have no feel for the game in how to build rushing plays into a scoring drives. He'll call the rush at the worst times too.
