Texans Prospect Visits Tracker (rev 2.0

I wanted a compiled list of the official top 30 visits that the Texans have had so far.

Here’s what I have:

Kayvon Thibodeaux Edge Oregon
Jalen Pitre S Baylor
Derek Stingley Jr CB LSU
Sauce Gardner CB Cincinnati
Ike Ekwonu OT NC St
Travon Walker DL Georgia
Kaiir Elam CB Florida
EJ Perry QB Brown
David Anenih DL Houston
Treylon Burks WR Arkansas

So apparently the prospect visit was merged with this thread Which I disagree with because it wasn’t to talk about rumors. It was about who had actually visited. Now people have to scroll through an entire thread to actually see who’s visited versus rumors and thoughts.

It was an accident. I goofed it in fact, it's on me. My apologies as well.

Looking at a possible fix as we speak.

Thanks for the hard work of the mods for rebooting this thread.
You're the one who scoured the world wide web for this info, so props to you.

If there are any missing, let me know via PM and I will edit the list to add them - it's kinda difficult keeping track of all the visits so I wanted to put them into one neat package.

Most of these teams are already settled on the grades for these guys..
Maybe so.

But remember all the talk about the Texans signing Osweiler to that contract without ever talking to him?

I think this is similar. Doesn't make sense to use day 1 or two picks without at least one eye-to-eye to try to see beyond the facade & make sure you have a good "fit" for the player & the team.

Even for day 3 picks, this meeting may be the difference between drafted & UDFA.

Sure they do. They also can't draft everyone they bring in. Still, teams are running their own mocks as we speak. There aren't a ton of surprises on draft day.
Some teams like the Cowboys the visits matter.

other teams like the Calhoun's last yr it didn't matter.

“JM: You blew away a lot of people. Which teams have you met with throughout the process, either virtually or via in-person top 30 visits?

TW: I made Top 30 visits with the Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina Panthers, and I went to Indianapolis as well. I had so many Zoom meetings, it’s difficult to remember them all. I had some with the New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, and Arizona Cardinals, to name a few. A lot of teams have been reaching out to me. Those are just a few. It’s tough to remember them all. A lot of teams have reached out to me and have shown interest.” Tariq Woolen CB
