Skyy Moore WR- COM

“Which teams did you meet with formally, and how do you feel your meetings went overall?

SM: I had a formal meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles. I met with every other team informally. I honestly met with everybody. I feel like all of my meetings went well. I was able to relax and talk football throughout my meetings. That’s when I’m at my best. That’s my environment. I love football.”

“I met with the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, and Cincinnati Bengals to name a few. It was so much fun to meet with so many teams and get face-to-face with so many coaches and general managers.”

It was primarily an offensive show at WMU’s Pro Day, highlighted by the Kaleb ElebySkyy Moore connection.
Eleby, who did not run the 40-yard dash at the Combine, timed just under 4.9 seconds today. He then tossed 58 passes during position drills and looked good throughout, showing the ability to make all the throws. As someone on hand told me, “The connection between Eleby and Moore is sweet.” Moore stood on his 40 time from the Combine but was smooth catching passes. The Houston Texans and New England Patriots had their quarterback coaches on hand.

Pass rusher Ali Fayad had a solid day as well. He measured 6’2″ and 248 pounds. Fayad completed 28 reps on the bench press, touched 32.5 inches in the vertical jump and 9’4″ in the broad jump, and ran a 4.8 40-yard dash — a mark he was disappointed in.
The Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, and Kansas City Chiefs all put Fayad through position work which is relevant to the defenses run by each team. So to

He's a legacy. We have to draft him.
Seriously though, he could be a backup with some development. Bring him in as the #3 or stash him on the PS.
He currently sits outside the draft table and may go undrafted. However, QBs are valuable commodities so some team will take him in the draft. I bet Texans will take him but they will have to be cagey to snag him. Teams who also might be targeting him in the late rounds may guess Caserio will take him before #205 or #207 - ergo #183. So, they try to jump ahead of us there to grab him first.
The tactic should then be to trade #207 and #183 with Las Vegas for #165 or #164.
Perry is worth a shot.

Some really poor numbers reported from A&M's pro day.

5.03 from Wydermyer is bad. Real bad. 4.63 from Spiller is far from good. I would question the track or the timers, but the numbers from Leal and Green are consistent from the combine. I have to go back and look at Spiller & Wydermyer, but I know they looked faster in games.

SDSU Pro Day

I’d love to draft Strong, and there were a few other prospects that turned heads. There’s a cornerback that I hadn’t heard of (Gardner) that I might take a late round flier on.
