TEXANS PLAYER TRANSACTIONS

For all the Aggie fans, the Texans have claimed defensive end Kingsley Keke off waivers from the Green Bay Packers. His joining the roster is officially deferred until after the Super Bowl,
Not sure if he is anything worth writing home about. Here is a scouting report. He seems to have tools and flash now and then. However, not consistent and not great off the line (matter fact awful off the line) as well as apparently giving up on plays when they pass him.

MAR 12 CONLEY COMES BACK The Texans are bringing back wide receiver Chris Conley on a one-year deal. The details of the contract have not been released as of this time.

Analysis: Conley's first year in Houston was hardly a success as the veteran wide receiver saw a dramatic drop in opportunities after two years as the Jaguars' deep threat. Part of that could simply be due to the Texans' putrid passing offense, but it's hard to have much optimism for Conley's future given the 28-year-old set a four-year low in both receptions and receiving yards.
