Julio Jones looks like he will need surgery on his turf toe.........~ a 6 month rehab. In each of the last 6 seasons, he has been hobbled and missed notable time with various significant lower limb injuries.
 
At the beginning this looked like it could be a defensive struggle though Atlanta was already establishing a good ground game. I was thinking I would love to see a defensive struggle in a Super Bowl or at least a close game down to the wire. Now it's 14-0 Atlanta and if New England gets destroyed I'll watch every last minute of it...lol.

Problem is, Brady will be passing a lot from here on out. Could spell trouble for the Falcons.
 
I'm loving seeing the Patriots getting their ass kicked, but I kind of wish it would get a little more exciting, because I hate blowouts.
 
I'll have to admit, I liked the beginning of Ga Ga's thing with a tip of the cap to America with the real lights of Houston in the real background. Not a fan of hers, but I liked the "intro."

I expected worse so I can agree, though IMO it was a far cry from one of the best. Of course, that's just my taste and we all have different entertainment preferences. But yeah, nice show in general in that it wasn't hard to watch.

I guess I always think back to Prince doing Purple Rain....in the rain.
 
I've been a Gaga fan since seeing a performance a few years ago at Toyota Center.. She has amazing talent and she didn't disappoint.
 
Lol, the SB is a channel-surfer's nightmare. When the game is on the channel changer is left alone, but when they go for a commercial I automatically reach for the changer until I remember this is the SB and the commercials could be really good. Not a great bunch ads so far, but I'll live.

Agreed, but honestly I would rather not leave it in the hands of the NFL. But yeah, no biggie, I just wouldn't have risked it with the score being what it was.

Anyway, it worked out. Atlanta went unscathed and are threatening.
 
I CANT BELIEVE THESE MFs came back. I wanted them to lose but good lord I have tip my hat to them for making this comeback.

if we go back to playcalling alone, there is a good argument that Falcons were not conservative enough, especially when they were in field goal range.
 
Quinn, got totally outcoached!! Why in the hell would you throw the ball, up by 8 points at your opponents 25 with 5 minutes to go? Idiot playcalling!! Run the ******* ball and get a fg!! Game over!!
