Several memes and jokes are going to come of Josh Norman breaking down on the sideline. I don't like that. I don't find entertainment in throwing dirt on someone who's just lost something important. He handled himself like a pro. He was the first to congratulate Manning, even offering a salute to 'the sheriff'. He handled the post-game interviews best as he could.

It's entertainment to us. It's a dream for them.

It was pretty terrible. You couldn't even hear the singer for Coldplay's voice. Beyoncé did a very small bit of some of her worst music. Bruno can preform but don't like his music.

Couldn't hear Coldplay's gay anthem (I gave my lesbian friends all types of hell during the performance), Beyonce went somewhere between Michael Jackson and Black Panthers, and Bruno Mars did the same routine he did 2 years ago. Awesome.

It's the Super Bowl, the biggest game of his and his teammates' lives, and he won't even dive for that ball?
OR he misjudge the bounce of the ball and thought it would be knocked toward the goal line. It's hard to know what he was thinking. It might not be as obvious as it appears.

the choreography was fine, but the production quality stunk. Too many field mikes with the gain up made it sound like mushed potatoes.

I'm rooting for DEN. I have nothing against Peyton even though he kicked our teeth in while with Indy. I've got nothing against kubiak even though he got his teeth kicked in too often as our HC. I'm also rooting for Owen and Antonio because they were good players for us. I don't think DEN will win but I'd like to see them get it. Based on emotion...

Denver 20
Carolina 17

I agree, that ain't cool.

What a boring game, crappy commercials, and terrible lip synching at halftime. Plus none of my squares won. :(

I didn't stay for the after game interviews and trophy presentation. Did they give credit to Wade for coming up with a great defensive game plan. Or was it just Peyton Manning interview hour? The Broncos won in spite of Peyton, that defense was playing lights out all night long.

Cam is one of, if not the most talented QB I've ever watched. The way he can just flick the ball 40-60 yards off balance is outstanding. He's one of the only QBs I've seen that can ignore techniques and the mechanics of throwing the ball in the NFL.

That said, the way he acted on and off the field disappointed me. Not diving after the fumble, throwing mini-tantrums on the sideline and the post game interview was poorly handled. All the youngins that look up to him saw their hero act like an immature cry baby.

Yes on everything. He's not as accurate as Rodgers but he's damn close and he has a gun.

I won't kill him for not diving on the fumble but the post game stuff was weak. Some guys handle defeat better than others. Much of that has to do with maturity and I think he'll develop and grow in that aspect.

Not to brag or anything but one of my squares one. Netted me $50. Missed a $100 square by...one damn square. I should start pouting like Cam huh?

D-Ware, Miller, and Wade should have split the MVP.

Or you could give it to the Panthers right tackle that got clowned all night.

I know Denver's entire defense played great but Miller was the rightful MVP. His two forced fumbles gave the Broncos their two TD's. This is an entirely different game without those two plays.

The game was good.
The commercials were crappy.
Didn't watch the halftime show. Never do. Halftime is for replays and game analysis. One of the other networks, for example, FOX, should do a "proper" halftime show so football fans have an alternative to the "entertainment" that was put on the field when the second quarter ended.

I'm guessing the NFL would frown on one of their broadcast partners doing anything to pull attention away from their crown jewel - even if it's only for the halftime portion of it.

I almost never watch the halftime show either - and yesterday certainly wasn't any exception. Plenty of options available for those not wanting to hang around and hope for a wardrobe malfunction.

You are right... but... FOX could have called it "Sports Weekend Broadcast" or whatever, maybe mention women's downhill ski racing and then go into 20 minutes of Super Bowl analysis.

Good one! But I didn't even see the "wardrobe malfunction" when that happened.

My wife pretty much only watches the halftime show, so I'm stuck with it.

Wow folks sure are hyper critical. I don't like any of those artists but it wasn't that bad.

I'm pretty sure it's being described as one of the worst by most everyone. It doesn't help when your headliner performs 2 songs to kick it off and the audience can barely hear his voice.

Don't know if you meant me, not critical, just not what I want to be watching at that point in time. If the NFL bumps up their ratings by appealing to a broader viewership, more power to them. I don't listen when my favorite sports talk shows have an MMA segment, but I understand why they do, and I just switch over to something else for a while.

Nope, he didn't dive in order to avoid risk of injury.

He said that he would have risked injury by diving as it would have meant he would have had to twist his leg in an awkward direction.

I don't see how it would do anything to his leg unless he dove leg first. More like risk to injure a finger, arm, or head.

More:
"Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser," he said.

He said if he offended anyone, "that's cool," and that he would not change his persona to appease anyone

I would have no problem if a player of ours intentionally committed a personal foul in the same situation. Hey, if that's what it takes to get him out of bounds before he scores, you do what you have to. Seems like a smart use of foul, although I am unsure what his intention was when he says that he "had to show him."

I didn't like him before and I don't like him now. That wasn't just a facemask, that was potentially career-ending.

Yep, and he should have been tossed from the game. That wasn't a 'my hand just grabbed something and I let go as quickly as I could' thing. He grabbed it, jerk it, and held on the whole way through the take down. He should have been ejected and suspended for 4 games next year.

Instead, it ends up being a 1 yard penalty and the jackass has no remorse for the purposely vicious, serious injury potential take down he made. Sure, he'll get a fine but these players don't give a rat's ass about fines or nearly $12M in fines wouldn't have been levied in the last 4 years. Take away playing time and game checks, and that might matter a little more. Then again, 255 games were lost in suspensions this season, so maybe not.

That was the worst face mask in the history of face mask. It almost looks like he wanted to rip more than just the dude's helmet off. And the worst part is it only cost Denver a couple of yards. It's like getting a couple of days sentenced for attempted murder. LOL.

I respect what you are saying, but I saw bad intent. Even during the post game he was off the charts (sliding accidentally into the NFLN desk). Cocaine came to mind.

Looked like football to me.

Like with TS, I respect that. God knows football was much rougher back in the day, but even then one rarely saw a head-turning-never-wanna-let-go facemask like that unless there was a fight in progress. Then we saw defenseless receivers getting dislodged from their uniforms and (as I saw in the Astrodome) a QB down only to get planted underground by a Raider lineman on steroids.

I selfishly long for the brutal days, but I understand fully why the mantra is to make it safer, but that wasn't football. That was just plain unnecessary BS by a jackass. Cocaine really came to mind in the postgame BS, then REALLY came to mind after hearing his words.

The guy he facemasked was the same guy he got the personal foul with a few plays earlier. The guy made a couple catches, started talking, and absolutely got in Talib's head. So far in his head in fact that he got a personal foul and then intentionally got another personal foul in order to "show him" by trying to injure him on a tackle.

I'm okay with certain penalties. It drives me nuts when teams burn a timeout when they're backed up on their own end zone or facing a 3rd & 20+. Just take the 5 yards. It's insignificant. However, I am not okay with my guys acting like thugs and taking the law into their own hands to merc out on an opponent just because the guy has your number and has gotten into your head. Keep in mind this is the same guy who came out of nowhere and poked a guy in the eye just a few months ago. He's also had multiple run ins with the law for assault. He's a POS.

I imagine y'all have seen this already, but it is freaking hilarious. Of course, I am a fan of the Andy Griffith show, so I really enjoyed it. Still laughing!
