I guess this year's theme where commercials are concerned is animals. A lot of talking animals this year. I guess it beats the year when flatulence was king. A lot of talking b-holes that year.

Lol next time Cam thinks about throwing to Ginn he should just turf it instead. Same result, with less risk of a turnover.

Ok. To elaborate. My MVP is Miller. But either would do.

Freaking Kubes gets a HC Super Bowl ring. Congrats to him.

I can't believe they just made that ticky tack call on Norman in the end zone, especially considering the circumstance.

Great story for Koobs and Wade ... Great ending for Manning ... storybook stuff.

"One mans trash is another mans treasure"

If not for the raw deal in Houston he doesnt get to where he is

Congratulations to all the guys who battled here in town and took the show to the rocky mountains and won it all .. I'm happy for yall.

Congrats to the Broncos.

I can't believe Cam Newton avoided diving for that ball at the end of the game. What do your teammates think when they see, on tape, you completely avoid diving for that ball in the Super Bowl? That may be one of the most defining plays I've ever seen.

Cam likes to dance and laugh in people's faces when his team is winning but when it comes to laying it on the line for his team when the chips are down, he hides.

I must have missed that. If you see the video on a given site, could you post the url?? Just want to see what I missed. Thanks, TS. :)

Just seeing Cam's press conference. Cam gave a lot of one-word, one-syllable answers and eventually walked off. Of course, NFLN is defending him. I don't get it. Cam needs to grow up a little bit and understand just how fortunate he is.

Many players, young or otherwise, have given press conferences under the same circumstances and been adult about the whole thing.

Am I the only one who thought that was the worst halftime show ever?

It was pretty terrible. You couldn't even hear the singer for Coldplay's voice. Beyoncé did a very small bit of some of her worst music. Bruno can preform but don't like his music.

Congrats Gary and Wade. It's nice to see how both have bounced back after a potentially career-killing 2013 debacle.

Congrats Kubiak, Phillips, and Daniels!

Suck it Cam - show boating arrogance in a W and a ***** during a loss.

Suck it Colts- your boy won another elsewhere!

Suck it Mcnairs for not going after Manning a few yrs back.

Suck it Stephanie Curry.

Suck it Patriots!

Lost all respect for Cam tonight. I can forgive the absolute choke job of a game he played but he absolutely quit on his team at the end and then walks out his post-game presser like a little crybaby.

I was a fan when he was in college, but his Superman antics just rubbed me the wrong way. But the way he conducted himself today validated everything I don't like about him.

And him not diving for that fumble . . I just couldn't believe it. He will never live that down.

Not trying to defend him at all, but it looked like his shoes locked in the turf and threw him off balance forcing him to lean away from the ball

Manning’s numbers were virtually identical to those of John Elway when the Broncos won their first Super Bowl, beating the Packers 18 years ago.

Peyton Manning, Super Bowl 50: 13-for-23, 141 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 interception, 56.6 passer rating.

John Elway, Super Bowl XXXII: 12-for-22, 123 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 interception, 51.9 passer rating.

Wow that is eerily similar.

Well....... another season is over and the Texans are still cursed into suckery

this may be a stupid question, but why did Denver go for 2 after their last TD?

taking the 1 point would have brought them to 10-23 which is 13 points, so two TDs and a conversion.

failing the 2 point conversion would have meant being at +12 which is only 2 TDs
while making it brought it at +14 which is still 2 TDs and 2 pts from conversion(s)

doesn't make any sense to me why they would go for 2

I could understand going for 2 if they had 1 pt less (so +11 if they fail the conversion or +13 if they nail it) because in that case you go from 2 TDs to 2TD + 1 conversion.

Probably I'm missing something obvious :)

Your math is a bit wonky. Denver's touchdown made it a 12 point lead. Kicking an extra point would've made it a 13 point lead at 10-23. That would mean that Carolina could score 2 touchdowns plus extra points (a total of 14 points) and take the lead ... 24-23. Going for two made it an even game if the Panthers did happen to score two touchdowns plus extra points ... 24-24. Had Denver failed, and Carolina scored two touchdowns plus extra points the score would've been 24-22 ... which is virtually identical to 24-23.

Basically, if Carolina needed 14 points to tie, instead of 14 points to take the lead.
