Sugar bowl

Not really interested in McCarron, but that was way out character for him.

I think he has a lot more upside than the naysayers give him credit for.

He gets punished because he plays on a good team. And on a team that a lot of people don't like/are jealous of.

He is a legitimate prospect. I still have a late 1st/early 2nd round grade on him.

Hard to believe how poor the left side of Oline 'K' brothers are performing.

WIlson #2 for OK just got verbally blasted by his team. AJ just does a Manziel to end doubts he can move and adjust earning a first down pass.

Kitchen sink blitz, db sitting on the route....played mccarron like a fiddle....OU seems to be amped up, they havent played this well all season.

All his measurable traits are average, mobility, arm strength, size. he does make good decisions (normally), and is accurate enough. He is patient but since Alabama has a superior line and skill position players he can afford to be. to me there are always dudes like him in a draft. Unless he has off the chart intangibles, (leadership, work ethic), he looks like a nice back-up to generic starter.

Nothing about hating Alabama, just about smelling Kyle Orton and Kurt cousins all over him.

True but would have helped if Amare had come back for pass than just stand there and where is this NFL offensive line I keep hearing about?

Recording the game. Busy with grand kids. Is he (LT) really playing that bad?

Does it matter? He had plenty of time to make a decision and still fell into the trap. How many times is Bridgewater in that position and he makes a good throw only for the guys on here to say "yea, but it was against Cincinnati...."

This is an indictment on McCarron. The big question on him is how does he perform under pressure because we rarely see him under pressure. Not good returns so far.

Wow a Bob stoops' team showing up to a bowl game? is this correct?

No just Alabama not showing up in a game that means nothing for them, when you have national championship expectations and one loss kills your season what is left to play for?

Will be glad when the championship brackets are in... The playing bowl games with nothing on the line sucks.

Well so far he has proved you wrong on arm strength and mobility tonight. He is 6'3" 214 and not avg at least this draft.

He was just late is all...gotta be quicker on the trigger with that read.

That's what I mean. He's staring a hole through Cooper the whole time and just holds the ball until it's too late. Get that thing out of there or move on.

Seriously, for the posting you do on this board and don't know that 6'3 215 is pretty average for an NFL QB then I sure as hell don't expect you to understand anything about mobility and am strength. Outside the interceptions, he playing like he always does.

wow did not know about AJ being in jet ski accident as a child with doctor thinking he might not live. Gruesome photos during game. Second link is cool story of 4 YOA leukemia patient that AJ is now godfather to. Worth a read.

As captured on video, Starla gave McCarron a rubber wristband while he was at the hospital, and he told her he would wear it in the Crimson Tide's next game, the BCS national championship game against LSU.

But before that game, Starla went into cardiac arrest on Jan. 3, 2012. She wound up on life support in a medically induced coma. Her parents were told to expect the worst.

Starla's parents watched the BCS title game from their stricken daughter's bedside. They saw the yellow wristband on McCarron's arm. Starla's father called it "very special," and her mother said she whispered to her daughter: "He's wearing your bracelet."

The wristband, symbolic of Starla's struggle - and that of all young cancer victims -- for life, sparked a national curiosity followed by an outpouring of support for Team Starla. She was on her way to becoming another "little miracle."

I said a couple weeks back that he reminded me of Schaub and someone else pointed it out earlier ITT. I have to say, the comparison sticks so far tonight. He's been god awful against the blitz.

I guess you mean post-injury Schaub. Pre-injury his QB rating was 120 against the blitz.
