Sugar bowl

Is Henry for real or just another guy who benefits from the nations best offensive line? Another Alabama RB bust? {Ingram/Richardson}

AJ is under the pressure TB is always under and he's proving what he is, an average qb who needs all the elements to be decent. In the nfl,you don't get all the elements all the time.

I agree with you on how pedestrian he looks. I can't believe he beat out Manziel in the Heisman voting.

That's because winner means 0 when tring to grade out prospects. Elway, whom I consider the greatest qb ever, had a losing record his last yr at stanford. Eli was 8-4 and has won 2 superbowls. Aj is a career backup to me.

Game, Sooners.

Texas 36, Oklahoma 20

Oklahoma 45, Alabama 31

Texas > Alabama ?

Make the move Nick.

More like Texas > Blake Bell

Trevor Knight > Alabama

No way does Texas beat that OU team that played tonight.

I don't think the Tide knew what was coming. Shutting down the run and forcing Bell or Knight is exactly the kind of game plan that you would want against this team, but Knight was a wild card and played superbly. You really couldn't ask for more out of the guy, he is exactly what the Sooners had been lacking all season, a QB that can scramble to extend plays, and make the defense pay on deep routes. If I were a fan of a Big 12 team, I'd be concerned about OU next year, Knight is a true Freshman.

AJ McCarron showed his true Schaub-like colors tonight. I know people are gonna bash the LT because he's a big name, but AJ had no pocket presence at all. At least 2 of the sacks could have been avoided if he had just stepped up in the pocket. He was really slow in his decision making too, sometimes taking 4-5 seconds to figure out what to do, and sometimes completely panicking on blitzes. He was a negative tonight, and it was painfully obvious he should stay in school another year. Oh wait... :)

While I'm thinking of it, does anyone else think AJ has a long wind-up for his throws? Several times I saw him dropping the ball down to about his ribcage while bring it back to throw. I haven't really studied him enough to know if that's a habit or him just being rattled tonight. It seemed kind of odd and out of place to me.

I was only kidding. I'm not a Texas fan but I know there are plenty on this board.

BTW, Knight is a redshirt freshman, and yes he definitely outplayed McCarron.

Weird. The pride of the sec getting knocked down a peg or two by a big 12 team. /sarcasm.
Stoops with time to prepare is always fun to watch. He added some hurry-up to the Offense after getting taken to the woodshed last year.

Called my Dad to chat during the 4th quarter. He said the same thing as I was thinking it. "Damn, he looks just like Schaub!"
