To address your question, here is a picture of Young consoling Montanna when he suffered a major injury. I don't know if Young was crying (although there are reports tears were shed) but he was showing compassion/emotion for a teammate he reportedly wasn't even very close to...a guy who was actually standing in the way of him getting on the field. Tank and CJ were are really close and Tank had gone through a lot the past year or so and seeing his close friend mangled like that obviously hit him hard.
After Demar Hamlin's situation
many of his teammates were in tears. Just because there are no pictures doesn't mean that Allen wasn't one of them.
Is it ok to cry at your own injuries? We saw Luke Keuchly shed tears as he was carted off with an injury.
When Ryan Shazier was injured there were tears:
Ryan Shazier came face-to-face with terror on a 2017 night in Cincinnati. In an excerpt from his new book, the former Steelers star opens up about what happened next—and explains how faith charted a path to his recovery.

I don't know if Ben cried that night (though he said he was very emotional) he did shed tears about it at some point he admitted. He even talked about crying on the field and how there shouldn't be a negative stigma attached to it.
But really, even if no other winning qb had ever cried on the field for any reason....so what? Big Ben, Favre, Manning are all time guys and have all been accused of some kind of sex crime. Maybe we should get Watson back since he shares traits that have nothing to do with their on the field play? If Watson commits some type of fraud like Favre would that especially elevate him in your book?
I would guess most guys would want to play for a QB who cares about them the way Stroud cares about his guys. You are more willing to run through a wall for a guy you actually have an emotional connection with.
