Slowik and the offense

How about post pics of QB's crying when a teammate gets hurt. I'll wait.
Do your own search... Such BS. Yes, he's the only QB teammate that cried when Tank Dell got hurt. Can't find any more pictures of Tank Dell's teammate QB's crying when Tank Dell breaks his leg in a way that may prevent him from playing again.

Why don't you find me a picture of Tom Brady masturbating while watching his ex wife plowing her new boyfriend. I'll wait.

That's why I said I hope the next OC is able to work with CJ. (CJ doesn't have a good track record of working with OC's.) Because Ryans will most likely be losing his job if this OC hire doesn't work out in 2-3 yrs)

If CnD said he got his info from the FO you can take it to the bank.
Not necessarily tho. This organization has a history of holding onto HC’s too long, not knee jerk like the Raiders. & Ryans in my mind will have to monumentally screw up to be fired in 2-3 years. I more willing to bet that he’ll get another crack at another OC in 2-3 years if the offense performs like it did this year. Caserio might be on the hot seat before Ryan’s in that scenario but/c ultimately he’s the guy making the hire.

You wont find one, but way to try to weasle out.

Yes that type of person can win a Super Bowl. Wow all because a young man was emotional about a person he views as a brother. Now he’s not capable of winning a Super Bowl. So I guess it’s not a team sport either!
I was pretty explicit, cried like a bch, then played like a bch. Those two do not & will not win a Super Bowl together.

Yes, he does. He's a kid. Some of you don't want to admit that...
He's not currently a leader.

Maybe he will grow into one.

Some think he's already a leader, one things for sure, he's got cart blanche to do whatever he wants to do. He's got that in common with Derrick during his time down on Kirby. Difference is Stroud's got the talent to win a championship. (Derrick didn't) he's just gotta put in the work.

Have you ever seen a GOAT QB cry on the field under the circumstance Dell/CJ were in? I haven't but I'm looking forward to seeing Pics of Staubach/Bradshaw/Stabler/Marino/Fouts/Montana/Elway/Mahomes/LJ/Allen crying like a baby and having to have another teammate calm them down so they could continue to play in a game, because I haven't.
Can you show a picture or recall an instance of Staubach/Bradshaw/Stabler/Marino/Fouts/Montana/Elway/Mahomes/LJ/Allen throwing a pass to a teammate who suffered a potentially career ending injury after they spent an offseason rehabbing a broken leg and gunshot?

So if you didn’t see him cry on the field and he still played shaky after the injury would it go together then? him crying and then playing badly..like, there’s no real correlation between the 2.

He could’ve just as easily started playing shakily after that injury b/c I don’t know……B/C HE HAD JUST LIST HIS ONLY OTHER VIABLE WEAPON ON THE OUTSIDE….& it took him…and the offense as a whole some time figure out how to adjust their game plan on how to attack with just 1 guy.

But him crying?!? that Literally has nothing to do with nothing.

Sure I can, Aikman threw a pass that ended Irvin's career and you didn't see him act like that.

My 2cents on the purported issue of CJ not running the plays called by the coach, I guess I'm too old school. I'd have jerked him from the game and sat him for the rest of the game. Then, depending on the outcome of the Monday morning FO confrontation, I'd let him ride the bench for the next couple of games.

This issue should have been addressed early. Perhaps Slowik should have been fired mid-season, or Ryans/FO management should have backed up the disciplinary decision.

Once again you’re dragging variables into it that have NOTHING to do with anything.
So you dont think the leader of a team should carry more responsibility on his shoulders than other players on the team?

Look just like with Derrick back in the day, most of this MB disagreed with me and that discussion got nowhere. Difference is I believe Stroud can take his team to a championship. Y'all keep on fanboying, I'm out.

I thought after we got rid of Watson and saw CJ's rookie season, the TT QB civil war would be over. I've come to the realization that as long as the starting QB is a Mulugheta client or is disliked by a vocal minority, regardless of performance, the pitchforks, slings and arrows are always at the ready.

If it wasn't the argument, shouting match or "altercation" with Slowik, it would be the S2, the crying, the body language, the hair, the goofy walk, something else or all the above. SMDH.

And you know that your "requirements" are ridiculously stupid. Just stop being obtuse...
Just trying to compare Apples to Apples and not trying to compare a guy crying during the NA to a dude losing it because his teammate got hurt.

I'm tired of playing this game. Your mind isn't going to be changed, neither is mine, so lets agree to disagree on this and move on.

Sounds good. I was done with this dumb argument before you started replying to my posts.

If you’re truly connected to the front office and you know the new management doesn’t want certain things or there. Why are you and whoever that was going against the grain?
Against the grain? Things were out there without my help. It obviously has not changed everyone's thinking. The Texans don't want a lot of things out there and are willing to hide them. Just recently: Slowick's job is safe............Slowick is our OC..............Slowick will not be fired. Where do you think all of these reports came from. I'll leave it up to you and others to solve this.

Dude stop it. You introduced his pay as a reason he should “man up” and not be out there crying b/c he’s a leader. And what he’s being paid has next to nothing to do with why he’s considered a leader.

His actions were actions of a leader.

OK

Sure I can, Aikman threw a pass that ended Irvin's career and you didn't see him act like that.
Again, you are missing the overall point. Irvin got injured in October 1999 and retired in July 2000. At the time, that it happened, no one including Aikman knew the hit would be career ending.

In fact, it wasn't even the hit that ended his career. After the injury, tests showed that he was born with a narrow spinal cord and another hit could lead to paralysis. As a result, instead of continuing to play, he retired.

So, that is not the same. This is like shooting fish in a barrel. You have another example?

Still it was obvious Irvin was hurt bad they carried him off on a stretcher.

But I'll give you one more.

Mark Sanchez blew Dustin Keller's knee up ending his career right by where my seats were.

I knew it wasn’t going to be over because of the select few and their past transgressions. Especially when it comes to a certain ethnicity.

I hope you're not calling me a racist.

I'm not only rooting for CJ to succed, I think he will succed.

I cant stand DM because of how he orchestrated what went on with the Derrick situation. He's truly a despicable person and if you think that makes me a racist then so be it. If you want to discuss this further then PM me.

It’s called rumors and lazy journalism, why because the Texans aren’t putting their business in the street anymore. You do know people make up stuff all of the times just for click bait as well as trying to be the first to report the news.

So now, LZ/CnD/Me are lying?

Got it

Carry on.

Nope I asked for pics of other QB's acting like this when a teammate got hurt. You wont find any.
What does it matter if it’s a qb and if it’s during this or that specific instance or not? Your original narrative about leaders not crying has already been debunked multiple times and all u keep doing is moving the goalposts getting more and more specific until you “win” the debate. You’re wrong bro..just drop it.

I'll ask you the same question, when's the last time you saw a NFL QB crying like that on the field because one of his teammates got hurt?

To address your question, here is a picture of Young consoling Montanna when he suffered a major injury. I don't know if Young was crying (although there are reports tears were shed) but he was showing compassion/emotion for a teammate he reportedly wasn't even very close to...a guy who was actually standing in the way of him getting on the field. Tank and CJ are really close and Tank had gone through a lot the past year or so and seeing his close friend mangled like that obviously hit him hard.

After Demar Hamlin's situation many of his teammates were in tears. Just because there are no pictures doesn't mean that Allen wasn't one of them.

Is it ok to cry at your own injuries? We saw Luke Keuchly shed tears as he was carted off with an injury.

When Ryan Shazier was injured there were tears:
The once-deafening stadium had grown eerily silent. I lay there, hearing nothing but my own breath and the pounding of my heart. I could see our trainer moving my leg and asking if I could feel it. “Feel what?” I thought. Once in a while, a teammate would shout words of support. But as I was placed on a stretcher, I caught a glimpse of my teammates, many of them kneeling, their helmets off. Their facial expressions spoke volumes. I could see my man, linebacker Vince Williams, crying. Later, I’d read about the immediate fallout my injury had on my guys.

I don’t think Vince stopped crying until after halftime, and that’s one of the most gangster dudes on the team,” safety Mike Mitchell said. “People had to grab him by the face mask and be like, ‘Yo, you’re the middle linebacker now. You can’t be sniffling.’”

I don't know if Ben cried that night (though he said he was very emotional) he did shed tears about it at some point he admitted. He even talked about crying on the field and how there shouldn't be a negative stigma attached to it.

But really, even if no other winning qb had ever cried on the field for any reason....so what? Big Ben, Favre, Manning are all time guys and have all been accused of some kind of sex crime. Maybe we should get Watson back since he shares traits that have nothing to do with their on the field play? If Watson commits some type of fraud like Favre would that especially elevate him in your book?

I would guess most guys would want to play for a QB who cares about them the way Stroud cares about his guys. You are more willing to run through a wall for a guy you actually have an emotional connection with.

Correct, I should've said QB. I consider the QB if he's worth a crap to be the leader of the team.

I did in other posts. I didn't mean to seen like I was moving the goalposts.

Excellent post but unfortunately it doesn’t back up their specific agenda. Therefore, they’ll either ignore it or find a way to debunk it.

Didn't the Texans select Stroud #2 overall? How big of a deal could the "altercation" have been? Looked like when things were going good in 2023, Stroud and Slowik were on the same page.
It's interesting that all reporting of this incident mentions "altercation". Technically, an altercation can be a disagreement, shouting match or even a fight. With that in mind, the wording encourages you to use your imagination.

@CloakNNNdagger heard it from someone in the FO. Zierlein heard it from someone close to Stroud. Yet no one mentioned the relationship after the draft or issues between the two men. It's just weird. Considering all the gamesmanship around draft time. I wonder about the motive of leaking the S2 score and this story. Who benefits.

I’ll just add I’m sure there were more than few guys who shed tears for Darryl Stingley after his paralyzing hit in a damn preseason game..

Well why don’t you go after white players like this?

And I didn’t say anything about anyone being racist.
I do,

You dont remember me going after Schaub? Os.

Even Watt when he started free lancing. Cushing and his roids etc...

Difference is thar Both Derrick and CJ are African American.I called Schaub pick 6 and said he foot was what was causing him to suck. Os obviously sucked. Remember me calling Hoyer Hoyerable. Or saying Carr was lazy and didn't put in the amount of work he needed to be the future of the franchise? That was before Kubiak was hired. Kris Brown? Casserly?

I'm sure you dont remember any of this.

Nope, but we are both fortunate enough to know some people who have inside info.
Yeah ok. I knew a few players, one in which use to buy bbq from me when I had my catering business. And you can best believe I asked some questions. But I digress because would never disclosed what they use to tell me.

Lol nobody remembers you doing any of that and especially not at the extent you do towards Smith, Watson, CJ and Mulugheta. I never seen you call them people you mentioned dumb, or I never seen you attack their family members like you did towards CJ. Never!
