that’s what you’re presupposing. Fact still remains those complaints only came about after they tried to get paid. I also expect those “investigations” by HPD to go nowhere unless Buzzbee pulls out some serious credible evidence...which I doubt he has or it happens in the future. If HPD ain’t filed charges by now with all that great “evidence” Buzzbee supposedly already sent to them in those packets, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Those”investigations” are only being kept open so that they don’t look like they’re being dismissive of the allegations and so Buzzbee can’t claim corruption....seeing he’s the guy who already alleged something of the sort “could” happen because Hardin’s son or whatever is high up in HPD.

It’s All just a dog and pony show by Buzzbee. A guy who specializes in blitzing defense attorneys in order to ratchet up pressure and force them to cave to his bidding.

that same witness...kept working with him KNOWING all this supposed sexual assault was going on so take that for what it’s worth. and what she said that could mean literally anything if framed in a certain light including what Buzzbee alleges. It could mean his name is getting around in terms of him having sex with all of them...consensually...which is still something females as a whole frown upon b/c they don’t want to be viewed as rando 1 night stands or females who engage in sexual activity to get ahead by their peers. They don’t care for man whores whether it was consensual sex or not.

BTW, I dont expect charges to brought against DW4 with the current political climate in this city. Justice wont be served criminally, but it will be served civilly. The very reason some of these women went civil before going criminal.

1 has already been thrown out...I expect a few more if not the majority of them to be via a summary judgement. Afterwards I think there will be on DW4’s part some level of restitution or whatever he will give the victims via counseling and/or some other means and it’ll be done so discretely.

Based on the time frame.......these criminal investigation didn’t happen until Buzbee and his clients were fully aware that Watson wasn’t breaking out his checkbook any time soon. Even when this became a reality, only one stepped forward to make a criminal charge......after a few days went by, it looks as though Buzbee convinced 6 more to step forward and file criminal charges.

Remember, these women, all 23 could’ve made the move to criminal charges but probably didn’t have the stomach to enter the courtroom and have Hardin ask them to explain to the jury...in detail...their masseuse training, knowledge, background and why they may have chose provocative images of themselves to advertise their services on Instagram.

I think many of these women were convinced to come forward by Buzbee b/c he told them Hardin/Watson wouldn’t want to see this go to court and the settlements would happen quickly. Easy money in the end.

agreed... and just given DW4’s rep before all this, the more LIKELY is that there’s a lot of buyers remorse that happened with these women. Engaged in some level of sexual activity b/c they either underestimated how they’d feel after a random hook up or they thought it’s be cool to hook up with an NFL star but afterwards they felt like ......victims feel...dirty, used and just not in a good place...even though the encounter was consensual.

Afterwards, they’re like “I shouldn’t feel like this so...it must’ve been sexual assault right? then after hearing Buzzbee’s public bullhorn they were like “yeah, it was definitely sexual assault”..

expecting. Buzzbee’s best shot has already been fired imo..which was the very public smearing of DW4’s name to shame him. Once discovery happens & Buzzbee has little more than he had at the outset of all this I believe Hardin will move for a summary judgement for the majority of these suits and will be moderately successful in that attempt.

THEN a settlement of sort May happen with possibly 1-2 of the complainants...but it won’t be for anything close to what Buzzbee sought out to get nor will it put DW4 in the position of being found guilty.

The biggest hammer that will drop on DW4 in all this will come from the NFL. He will get hammered there b/c Gooddell will break out his “protecting the shield” speech..

Anyone paying attention to what has been happening the last couple of years knows not to trust the American "justice" system. Just ask Mark and Patricia McCloskey.

System has been perverted from the top down. Every thing has to be video'd before some people think it's believable. Why do you think body cams are so often turned off. Deniability. Not much chance DW chose to install video recorders.

Civil action's are the only chance to bring everything out into the open. I applaud their bravery in putting DW's abuse public. (allegedly?)

7-15 young middle school girls don’t like how their male teacher graded their test or how their grades fell at the end of the semester. They conspire together to claim he was sexually assaulting them and were too scared to come forward. So, the teacher is now left trying to defend himself while everyone has declared his guilt. How could there be any questioning of this situation b/c 7-15 young ladies stepped forward, made the claim......so it has to be truth b/c.....well, 7-15 girls came forward to make the accusation.

So, for you poster(s) who a major desire to see Watson completely ruined and have already decided you are judge, jury and executioners......simply put, you’re wrong. You folks have zero facts or evidence, yet you have based your decision on the emotion of hatred and decided he’s guilty without a hearing. By the way, have any of you had the chance to select your tree limb you’d like to use to hang Watson from?

lol, some of us view the system the same as it has always been, flawed and typically lopsided towards the rich and the privileged majority. The McCloskeys are 1 of the few instances where that isn’t exactly quite how it has always been....& even in their situation it’s questionable. Congrats on finding that lone exception though.

Or they didn't think they would get justice through the HPD/DA office.

Maybe Buzbee tried to convince them to not go criminal. The reason that could be possible is a few of them have said they wont settle, they want justice.

We wont know this until it goes to trial. DW4 should be very careful, Buzbee is very calculated.

it ain’t gymnastics bro it’s just the truth...Buzzbee hasn’t come close to proving anything be it civil or criminal and I’m sure Hardin understands this which is why he said what he said when asked about the victims. For all the championing of Buzzbee’s credentials you’ve been doing, he ain’t exactly dealing with a bumbling idiot in Hardin.

Just ask yourself what's most likely and go from there. The truth is we dont know the truth and never will. But common sense ain't so common anymore. That was Corrosion's sig and it really applies in this case.

the only relevant thing you said was that only the parties involved know the truth and we never will. So far, there is only 1 side of the “truth” out .........that you seem to have bought 100% no questions asked......and those of us who have been on this board since 2017 know very well why that is.

Pretty much lays out my thoughts on the matter. 22? Yeah that's concerning but the guy is rich and everybody wants a payday. Has this changed my opinion of dw? Sure. But I won't convict the guy prior to him having his day in court.

One things for sure the amount of massage therapists is very unusual and damning. You dont want to admit this. The number of women filing suit is unusual and damning. The stuff DW4's admitted to doing is not as unusual and damning.

I haven't bought into anything but DW4's a perv and you can choose to bury your head in the sand if you wish. But I want to know why you think it is that I've bought in on everything vs just using plain old common sense?

You want your guy to be clean, this just in, He ain't clean. He is what he is and yes, I hope they take all of his money and it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if he did a little jail time. Maybe then he would learn a little humility. He probably wouldn't because psycopaths rarely learn much of anything when it comes to the consequences of their actions. Why? because in some weird way they think what they done is perfectly acctectable in today's norms. Look no further than your guy as an example of this.

You are exactly right and it’s not the coming to his home part in and of itself that is strange. Hell even flying some out to him, others have talked about a big road game they would do that. However, If you also listen to them talk about it for most it’s therapists that they have worked with for years and I promise you they didn’t find them on Instagram.

The part that looks so bad and which even the most hardcore Watson defenders, such as his lawyer, can’t explain is why he needed or even wanted 40 different women to work on him. No one anywhere as said they even went into double digits much less 40.

That more misinformation than fact.

From my understanding one accuser approached Watson about a settlement before filing a civil suit.

I imagine after approaching Buzbee he reached out to see if there were other possible victims. This was before going on Instagram. When he filed the first suit, he said there were 4 more.

After posting that message on Instagram 2 more women joined Buzbee, making 7 total.

Watson called them liars & 20 more accusers contracted Buzbee, 5 of which he dismissed, bringing us to a total of 22 civil suits.

& I believe one of the accusers pursuing criminal charges is not associated with Buzbee bringing us to 23 accusers.

As far as I know only one tried to settle before filing either civil or criminal.

I may have missed something but I don't recall any stories about another "victim" seeking to settle before contracting a lawyer.

Are we talking about the same witness? I thought he was referring to Hardin's character witness that said Watson had always been professional with her, but later a DM to a friend she's telling them she told them to stop messing with Deshaun. She herself had already stopped.

This real life situation is 20+ women who have never met each other as far as we know.
