Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

I posted on here that Hopkins checked Watson for always partying in his rookie year. We had a long time member on here . who was very outspoken told me he lost a lot of respect for me for posting what I heard. He bounced and never came back. I seen him posting on Clutchcity though. So Corrosion it was always Watson like you posted.

his not guilty yet, should not have said that, but the story is the same on all. His guilty or this is the biggest undertaking to destroy an innocent man in athletic history. Was/is a likeable good guy so it seems.

Bill Cosby was thought to be a man with good character who had family values. His hit TV series dealt with family values. If a man like Bill Cosby can be a perv anybody can. We think we know people but many times they are not who we thought they were.

With that said we shall see how this all comes out. As of now it does not look good for us or DW4.

Watson's criminal prosecution may depend on whether or not the cases or consolidated. If each case proceeds independently, the other cases won't be able to be used as evidence. It's hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt if it's he said she said 1 on 1. But, if the cases are consolidated and it's 20 or more testifying to the same charges it's going to be much more difficult for Watson. In order to consolidate the cases the plaintiffs are going to have to demonstrate a pattern that is the same in all the cases. Busbee is already doing this in his filings.

And to think I was a bit bummed about NOT renewing my season tickets before last year.

Turns out to be a pretty good decision.

This guy needs help, if all of this stuff is true. I just don’t get it, dude could walk into any bar or basically any establishment and go home with anyone he wanted to. Addiction is addiction though...tough to kick.

I think its pretty much a slam dunk that these cases are consolidated .... the pattern is very plain to see , even if you aren't looking.

I must have missed that conversation ..... interesting how this has all fallen together.


When you understand the the reasons why the team was doing things , it all kinda makes sense.

Sure wish we woulda traded this dude a month ago .... this probably sets the franchise back a year or two.

I was too, but they just got too expensive for my budget and the thought of BOB running things into the ground made it pretty easy to let it go.

According to local ESPN Radio (so take it with a grain of salt), the Texans organization is thought of so poorly by other NFL people, that some of them are buying into the "framing Watson" theory.

Social media seems to be leaning in deep into the conspiracy. Doesn't mean **** in a legal sense, but could certainly play into women not wanting to come forward. Another reason why victims often don't come forward.

So would that be the same media that was reporting that Watson wanted out because of how bad the Texans front office was and how all the players supported him? ESPN, particularly the local ones, don’t know crap and no one that has any real information tells them crap. They talk to the late night janitor and it becomes and NFL source for them.

Doesn’t help that they have built him up and talked about how amazing he is on and off the field and even if he is innocent the fact that he allowed himself to be put in this position means they got a lot wrong about him and that scares and angers them.

As far as the great unwashed believing the story I mentioned that earlier in the thread and was asked to prove it based on the number of people in the USA. People believe it because the media and society have made celebrities into borderline religious figures so when that illusion is shattered and they are revealed to be just men and women it causes people to latch on and believe anything else.

I don’t know if Watson is guilty or not but I know that him being guilty is far more likely than some grand, illuminate level conspiracy just because he wanted traded.
 
From a women's perspective.

If any of the women have a "sexually suggestive" instagram account/pictures - then what was said to have happened is mostly on them.
If they were undressed in any fashion - again mostly on them as this type of behavior was to be expected and/or wanted.

If the women have a "normal" instagram account and/or were fully clothed when this happened - then it is all on him.

I am not going into what I think is "sexually suggestive", you guys know as soon as you see a pic what is or is not.

I think he is screwed and will never play another down for the Texans and likely never play again in the NFL. He has a baker's dozen against him and probably more to come. If they do file criminal charges and he is found guilty, hope he gets the maximum for each and the sentence is consecutive non concurrent.

I am glad that I did not waste my funds buying a #4 jersey.

If it was about hiring prostitutes, maybe your point would hold more meaning. Watson certainly has the money to seek that out.

But hiring hot IG “masseuses” and trying to force things to happen is not in the same zip code as giving someone $20 for Morehead St.
 
Couple of random thoughts crossing my mind.

Bill O’Briens comments likening this situation to Aaron Hernandez don’t seem so outlandish now.

Watson must have next level talent if all he’s interested in is partying and a compulsive deviant sex addict to boot. How many QBs fail in this league because they don’t put in the next level effort. What could this guy have achieved if his head was in the game.

Which is why prostitution should be legalized. I’ve never heard of a prostitute case where she said no as the action for filing the case. But I have seen news evidence of sex trafficking, murders, and pimps beating the hell out of them.

you seem to be the one with a problem. No means no isn’t even the issue with my post so why even suggest it? Even legalized prostitution isn’t perfect but it goes a distance towards providing protections for a crime infested institution that isn’t going away. So relax and go smoke some pot in a legalized pot house in Colorado.

To your point. I know Watson received a huge signing bonus of $25 million? When you think of his current lifestyle (e.g., cars, homes, vacations), if he has to pay six figure settlements in the civil cases, fees to Hardin and his firm, all of a sudden, his expenses could take a huge chunk out of that signing bonus.

Just cannot believe a kid grows up poor, has all of his dreams come true, becomes wealthy beyond his wildest dreams, is set for life and then allows himself to get into this situation and burns everything to the ground. His mother must be going through hell right now.

Is it really that hard to get laid nowadays? DW4 has some real issues and insecurities if this is his modus operandi to satisfying his sexual desires. This is where a culture coach would come in handy helping players deal with their inadequacies and immaturities.

Enough with the "legalize prostitution" stuff, that has nothing at all to do with this case. These civil cases are for sexual assault which, if there is a criminal case, is what it will be about, not solicitation. So you are completely off topic and this thread is already riding a thin line so please don't give the mods an excuse to shut it down.

I was thinking about his addiction and the nature of it. FWIW of all things it seems to lead back to harsh toilet training so in a weird way momma may have contributed to his problem. I’ll bet Thorn could find the cosmic link here, lol.
