Let me honest, because you and many others aren't going to like this. Average Joe would never have faced a single lawsuit. The police would never have listened to any of these women's allegations about Average Joe had they come months/years after the fact with zero physical evidence. This only happens if the guy is rich and or a celebrity. This had to be someone like Deshaun Watson for Buzbee to take up the cause.

That doesn't obsolve Watson . That's just the way it is. Fame & $$$ can cut both ways.

So you don't think the system is broken? How can you see legitimacy in the hypocrisy of the repercussions of the players and owners behavior? What's the point of this anyway?

Frankly, Watson's lawsuits were the best thing that could happen to NFL owners this offseason. No one is talking about the Commanders sexual harassment accusations. Or owner Dan Snyder's larceny of season ticket customers. Or Stephen Ross' pay for tanking allegations. Or the Browns paying Hue Jackson for the same. Or Jerry Jones and his cronies peep shows. Or the Brian Flores lawsuit. Especially the Brian Flores lawsuit.

No, if Watson didn't exist, the NFL would have to invent him.

Big difference is Big Ben had 2 complaints. Derrick has 24 and what could be up to 66 or more complaints out there waiting to be filed.

Does volume matter and does the sheer number of complaints tarnish the shield more or less than BigBwn screwing a girl with a down to F t-shirt on in the bathroom with an off duty LEO standing guard outside of said bathroom. This is really an Apples/Oranges situation.

Speaking of insanity the moderation of this situation by some is quite insane. Almost to the point of narcissism. Can't bring up Derrick's roots or the people who are from the same roots that are representing him. I guess I'm not Woke enough to post in this thread.

Watson’s NFL status, like other pro athletes who have gotten away with crimes such as murder, is helping him.

The Carolina Panthers owner was forced to sell after sexual misconduct charges came out.

Indy owner Irsay was fined and suspended for 6 games for drugs that a lawyered got down to a misdemeanor.

Snyder is on a yacht avoiding a subpoena to testify under oath before congress. Translation: Still under investigation. So yes - people talking.

Brian Flores lawsuit still ongoing that also includes the Browns ownership (lol) and Miami’s Ross.

Jerry Jones and Kraft got off. (Is there a joke there?) When your teams’ pay the bills and then some you get that privilege.

That is the difference in owning a business and being employed. No different than most business. Do as I say not as I do.

I think you are getting too deep over thinking it. You are pulling a Seth Payne. We all live in broken houses that were once made of glass chunking boulders at eat other. Nothing is perfect. You will find inequalities in everything such as politics, law enforcement, education, etc. Its the world we live in. And it ain’t changing. So don’t be so outraged.

What's going to be relevant is when more women come out of the woodwork after these cases are settled and yes, there are more women out there just waiting to see how things go for the 3 women who refused to settle. Which begs another question, why do you think those women were unwilling to settle?

It is not confusing. You said an average Joe would not have a single lawsuit (which is wrong, because it is hard to get a conviction without physical evidence, so civil court is where a sexual assault victim will go to get justice), nor would they be in jail. Yes they would, at least be arrested.

Nine of those complaints would not have been no billed for an average Joe. Why? Because a prosecutor is more willing to prosecute an average Joe than someone rich and high profile.

The term “ambulance chaser” exists for a reason.

And it is why you have accidental insurance on your home owners policy if someone trips and tries to sue you.

People will sue for any reason and lawyers do it all the time.

Because he would be more likely to go to jail than someone rich and famous! That is LITERALLY what I have been saying. Someone rich and let’s not even say famous, is less likely to even be arrested.
