Whether it be Kubiack, Smith, Sherman the tune is the same and it is a very wonderful tune at that. They all seem to recognize that the schemes they plan to employ must match the strengths and weaknesses of their players. They all impress me that they want to teach and get the ship righted. This is so opposite of the previous staff it is not even funny and its been what I have been harping on for a long time. Reading between the lines - because nobody wants to criticize the previous staff - I believe they think there is a lot of talent on this ball club that has gone to waste. We all have people we like and don't like as players, but I really think we need to step back and watch what happens with this group of coaches and instructors. Right now, I'm just bubbling with optomism based on what I'm hearing. Now, that could change, but I hope not.
There just have been so many situations the last few years where you just wanted to pull your hair out watching what the players were doing based on coaching and play calling by the coaches. It seemed like a never ending stream of if they could only execute. Well, its tough to execute something that is doomed to failure from the start.
I'm looking forward to what this staff does with our receivers, our defensive players, our offensive and defensive lines, and of course the rest of the offense including Carr. I have a feeling we will not recognize the team we put on the field. I believe there is going to be a light years change in the way they play and look. I'm also looking forward to the draft and what happens to us in that regard and how the coaches move the young players into the line up. Yes, Casserly has positioned us well, because we are getting 4 of the top tier players this go around. He had nothing to do with us getting the absolute 1st pick, but we have others as a result of the manuvering and we can thank our lucky stars because we have a lot of positions that need help. I think the bilge pumps are working overtime and the ship is a float getting ready to set sail. GO TEXXXXANS........
