I see the first four QB's off the board, in no particular order, as Trunisky, Keizer, Watson and Mahomes. I see these four as likely being top 50 picks.
Behind this group, I see Webb, Kaaya, Kelly and Peterman. I see Webb, Kaaya and Kelly as being projects needing maybe two years of development before being ready to start year three. If a club needs a QB to be a sound QB2, ready to step in his first year, then I see Peterman as the most capable to fill this role.
So the question I'm tossing out there for those who have studied this, among those teams who miss out on the top four, but still likely to consider a QB early, which team's might go for more developed talent of Peterman over the higher ceiling projects.
Basically I'm sounding out where Peterman
might be available. I'm seeing projections from the third round through the fifth. But I'm thinking a team like Denver might have him on their board as the fifth best QB, gong late in the second.
