Yes, he comes in at RE and Mario jumps to RDT and the left side of the Rams line has collapsed under the two of them a couple times. They both got through on the Peek deflection.
 
This game should be tied if we could convert field goals. That hurt us last year and its not helping this year...............

Im not saying I want nothing but deep passes, but when you have a player like AJ who you spent a #3 ovrl. pick on, you give him a couple of opportunities a game. Just because its a meaningless game doesn't mean you don't throw a deep pass, every game I've seen so far this preseason teams have thrown a couple of deep passes, you work on the timing during preseason games, because they're meaningless, thats what they are there for.

Throwing a deep pass every once in a while, won't hurt. Preseason has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Although by the sounds of it, we don't seem to be getting great protection
 
So Mario and Peek were lined up on the same side of the DL?

Yikes...that is a TON of athleticism for one side of an OL to handle. I love it.

TO has played in a west coast offense his entire career, and SF and Philly (save last year) got plenty of production out of him. AJ can be the same way.
