Preseason Game 2 Thread: Texans @ Rams

Just got a chance to check in. Mario is looking good, Lundy needs to learn how to block, Morancey looked really good so far. Also, I think Spencer looks good too. While we may not win this game I really like what I see.


Can someone find us a real kicker? The guy seems to miss anything thats not an extra point.
 
Hey Texans fans. The game isnt showing here in Virginia and I was wondering how Mario was playing and im way to lazy to read the first 18 pages

It's 1.5 games into the preseason of a new regime...don't get stressed, it's not good for your heart ;)

Personally, I prefer the short passes and then let AJ let his ability take over. He's masterful after the catch. The chances of completing a short pass is greater, so I'd take those odds and then get some YAC 75% of the time than throwing deep and only connecting 25% of the time.
 
I'm watching the Pats game and they have a young kicker who will not be making the team, but he has hit a couple of long FGs. MMMmmmmm.

1 tackle for a stat, came close to an int and has been providing better pressure.
 
Sounds like Morency's pass blocking is light years ahead of Lundy. Will probably be the difference between starting and being a reserve.
 
Is it me, or does Dexter seem to lose coverage quite a bit? The rams have been able to burn him a few times already this game.

Looked almost like we sent too many - the blitzers couldn't get through the line, and that left the receiver against CC Brown, who isn't exactly Mr. Coverage.

He was a member of that Chief's defense that was notorious of giving up big plays over the last few years

CC Brown was hurt earlier, prolly not 100%

He looked more fluid than Carr last week. We shall see. I will base my opinion on performance like the coaches.
