There is a caveat - of course you don't want to wear him out so Pierce should get some snaps - especially when you need a .

Y'all smoking crack if y'all believe that Pierce is all of a sudden going to transform into this one cut finesse back. I’d rather trade him for picks and either draft or pick up an UDFA that fits our scheme. Pierce had the entire offseason/TC to get ready and he just ain’t cutting it.

Per 610 Singletary has averaged over 4.5 yards per carry 7 out of the last 8 games.

Per 610 Singletary has averaged over 4.5 yards per carry 7 out of the last 8 games.

In his last 8 games he's gone for 626 yds on 130 carries - for a 4.8 ypc clip.

Not too shabby if extrapolated out to a full season.
