That was an awesome turnout, and LOUD LOUD LOUD!!! Either someone was taking pictures, our I was on the edge of a blackout from screaming so hard, but I definitly saw some flashes. If it was pictures...post 'em!
I know there were some out-of-towners in there but only got to meet one (I think), and I can't remember her name, just kept calling her "Roady".
Nitro, it was good see your family out there, I explained the situation to some others as well about the captioning and they all understand, and for the most part, if anyone was looking your way it was to join in on what you were yelling. Between you and Ensign, your table was ROWDY!
I can't remember if it's FirstTexansfan or Texansfan#1 that was at the table between me BigWig's table but which ever it was, way to bring the family out! My Bronco buddy that was there told me to tell the girl in the Oakland jersey, "better luck next time" (all in fun). My aplogies, if some verbal vomit spilled out of my pie hole during the game. I made my best effort to keep it civil, but fear that one or two tacky phrases might have rolled across the lips.
To sum up it all up, I would like to quote the guy that was sitting directly behind me after being at 3rd Base for the first time..."the game will be telivised next week, but there's no way in hell I'm watching it home, this is awesome!" Fella...you couldn't have said it any better, and I hope you are back next week...I'll keep the light on for ya.
Props to all...suggestion for next week is to make the rounds through out the building to make sure we include any Texan brethren that didn't get a seat in "the room" in our chants/cheers and perhaps some road trip high fives to the other part of the building.
