**Official GameDay Thread** Pre-Season Home Opener New Orleans Saints @ Houston Texans

I'm currently sitting on a derrick barge around 100 miles offshore Louisiana and unable to watch the game. So thanks to everyone for the updates, and thanks to you ObsiWan for the eye candy.

Damn your still employed in the oilfield ? So am i, but all my friends have already been laid off. But it looks like it's getting better so maybe we got lucky during this crash unlike I did in 07-08.

Osweiler is obviously studying and working on his flaws. He made some really good throws as well as some throws in sure he would take back of he could, but he looked allot better and allot more comfortable then he did last week. Let's see more improvement next week.
Fuller is fearless. Some misses, but some great catches under pressure, including his TD's catch.

Cushing had a great 1st half. Vince, Covington... Whitney all look ready for the season to start.

What I've seen from McKinney isn't matching the camp reports.

That's all we can ask for Jam. Study and learn from your mistakes. And try your best not to make those same mistakes again.

He is a student of the game for sure bud.

Well, I was laid off from my position as a project manager in April '15, so I started my own gig, and now I'm going offshore as a company rep, superintendent, foreman, or whatever other kind of whore they will pay me for being. Right now I'm out here as the night shift company man for a platform removal. It's a pretty cool job.

If I'm J. Grimes I'm wondering why I'm not out there. Really, the RBs have been doing a crap job tonight.

Then again that O Line isn't doing anything to help much of anything.

Data Analyst: basically monitoring all the parameters and the eyes for the Geologist (sample interpretation and etc.)

I'm not sure I know many of those people, but I have a neighbor who is a geophysicist for oil & gas. I'll chat him up when I get back and see if he can give me any info. Times like these, us oilfield trash have to look out for each other.
