**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Eagles, Sunday Dec 23, 2018!!

We need a play like that. Can’t Carter stay in the backfield just in case they blitz?

I'm much relieved to see the Texans hanging in there. If they pull this out, it's smooth sailing to a first week bye.

Refs on our side for once?
If you look back to when our long string of wins began you will see that the refs have helped us along the way. Yes there have been some piss poor calls against us but we also have been the party getting calls in our favor at critical times in games.

Defense did enough to get to halftime with the lead. Thought the Texans might have left too much time on the clock.

Ertz and Sproles were killers in that half.

Oline is having some success againt their front. Perhaps Cox and Bennetts injuries are worse than reported.

We knew this was going to be a playoff type of game. I am happy with it so far. The defense needs to tighten up on Sproles and Ertz (teams we will see in the playoffs have weapons at TE and RB too). Need to win the second half and escape Philly with a win.

Let's see if we can't sneak in anothe 10 commercials!
It amazes me the difference between watching this game carried by sky sports vs the US feed on gamepass. Sky sports cut to redzone and back to the studio on about 2/3rds of commercial breaks due to the broadcasting laws over here.

However the pizza is a lot cheaper over there so it ain't all bad. Large pizza around £15 here vs $7.99 over there. I may have to emigrate!

Defense has to stay physical and avoid giving up the big play. The first drive of the 2nd half will show if RAC can out adjust Philly. Offense needs to continue to find a way to efficiently move the ball and of course not turn the ball over.

Does anyone have an idea what the Eagles 2-Point Conversion Logic was?

Thinking they would hold us to field goals. We'd have needed two to score 6.

Or they thought our kicker would miss another extra point.

Use to play D-line in HS and I’ve ever understood how you can line up off sides. Unless you don’t even take a look at the ball
