**Official Game-Day Thread** Bears at Texans!!

It's hard to be on here and with 50 friends and family watching the game. BBQ, beer, family, friends, the game. Sorry, but that comes before the game day thread. lol
I thought TexansTalk was family and friends! LOL!
Okay, you get a pass, but next Sunday, you could at least stick your head in the door for thirty seconds ever now and then and pump us up. Sh-it was getting real negative up in here in the first half. We needed you man!

The secondary really turned it around in the 2nd half, giving the pass rush time to get home. 2 sacks by Merciless, 1 by Simon, 1 by Bouye... who got the other?

Anyway... Cutler had nowhere to throw the ball in the second half.

Dude. I will not let you down again. We need every fan to root on that win!

He could have called a quick play himself.
It tells me that Osweiler is very serious about winning and wants his coaches to make as quick of decisions as he has to make at the line and when he dropping back, looking at the secondary and having to get rid of the ball quick. He wants perfection from everyone. Including his coaches.

I've seen the final score and every pass from Os. I can't wait to watch the game tomorrow night and identify all of you sissies with weak bladders.
I like what I saw from Os. Calm, cool and collected. Been there, done that. OL is still my biggest concern.

51 friends and family
Actually, there was close to 70 people at the party. We smoked 2 20 pound briskets and 5 large racks of pork ribs. We probably had 50 pounds of potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, and Cole slaw. Not to mention probably 70 cajun style corn on the cobs. Each wrapped with a large jalapeño and bacon drowned in garlic butter before or was thrown on the grill. All that was ready for the game. Good food, good friends and football. That's what I enjoyed today.

Sounds delicious and very believable

The Jags are for real. It's either us or them.

We'll see. I picked them to win because Green Bay doesn't have a pass rush.

We do. Minnesota does. KC does. Denver does. Oakland's is getting there.

We'll see.

My mouth is watering. It sounds as good as it must have tasted.

Will Fuller was targeted 11 times 5 catches

DeAndre Hopkins was targeted 8 times 5 catches

Lamar Miller was targeted 4 times 4 catches

Stephen Anderson was targeted 3 times, 3 catches

How lucky can indy be. The Lions kicker misses the PAT and it is the reason they win the game..
I hope Clowney mashes him into a thin, gooey, paste..

I still want to see Clowney pastify Luck.

Nothing more disappointing than seeing a Houston kid leave the state to play
college ball in Cali and then sign with a team that plays against the Texans
twice in a year..

Brother. We will do it again. Every game. If you're not at the game and you want to party, let me know. All Texans fans are welcome. We're all brothers and sisters when it comes down to it.

Who takes the place of Cush? Need a guy that can put the defense in the right position.

LOL - RGIII got a phone call during his post game presser!

Sweet ... cajun corn .
I do not have a problem organizing a get together between us board members. I have a huge back yard and a 55" tv I can mount back there. I have a very good smoker and my wife makes an amazing BBQ sauce. You guys say the word and we'll get together 15 minutes south of the Stadium out 521 in Fresno. I'm all for it. Just bring a dish, ice and beer. Kids are welcome as I have a pretty nice play ground for them.

YEAH!! uh what other NFL options did he have?

He chose to go back to Stanford for an additional year instead of coming out earlier as most expected.
Had he come out earlier he would have most likely been a Carolina Panther (who chose Cam instead)
and we wouldn't have had to play against him twice a year.

Also, he had no reason to leave TX. He had offers from every single school in the state. Including Rice
(according to Tom Herman) which would have easily given him a top 20 education as well (like Stanford)

Yeah Wilbur, FFS even as a Cal grad, what going to Stanford says is he is smart and valued education over football - assuming your offer stuff is not BS. You may in some deluded way think that odd. I think it was admirable.

After a nice win by the Texans today, can't blame the TexansTalk fans for being a little chippy... if that includes a little degradation of AFC south opposition, that's okay, no? Andrew Luck SUCKS!

HUH?

Some times your stream of consciousness overflows it's banks...

He chose Stanford over Rice because he valued football as much
as education.

Just because you leave early to play in the NFL does not in
any way exclude you from returning to college at a later time.
(Manziel is back at A&M now..)

He ended up costing himself money because every year you
delay hitting the league is a year less you have to play..

(unless you think he will be the first QB to play into his 50's)

And I'd prefer you call Tom Herman a liar instead of me..

I hate to end your delusion but nationally Rice doesn't hold a candle to Stanford. Don't bother trying to find some ranking. Sit in the hiring room. Stanford is national. Rice is regional.

And you said any Texas team. Obviously UT has the biggest stage if football was his only concern.

Not that any of the tripe you were slinging is substantiated.
