**Official Game-Day Thread** Bears at Texans!!

Hard fought. The Bears did not lie down. Until the second half. lol
The Texans are still 4-0 against the Bears!
 
Didn't pay attention until the announcer just mentioned it but we moved clowney to DE...was this just in certain packages or most of the game?

Thought the same for an instant, but it was fourth down - smart thing to do was drop it. Course, game was already done, so he could have used it to pad his interception stats.
 
The way that game ended was good for Watt. Just getting to tee off like that again and again he seemed to be getting a hint of rhythm then even though he was gassed. It was like an intense practice.

He played DE every snap I saw. Didn't see him at OLB at all. He looked good. Very active. Hopefully it takes some pressure of JJ. He's going to need some time to come back around.

Good game. Really like what I saw from Brock. Announcers kept gussing over his throws. Don't mind the couple of overthrows he had to Fuller because they'll start to connect with more time together. Hopkins is Hopkins. Lamar Miller is going to do fine taking Arian's spot. I only worry that he'll get overworked since he hasn't had this many carries. Defense only allowed seven, which is awesome. Watt didn't look himself so hopefully he gets healthier.

I know it's the Bears but we got a good team. A lot of that rests on Brock's abilities and he showed some good ones today. Excited for the season.

Time for my celebration joint while I listen to postgame.
 
Good win. Brock still needs to work on his timing, too many over throws.

Well, I'm gonna go hit that moon rock to celebrate the win, and cheer for the Giants (just for this week) to stomp the Cowgirls into submission.

She got to go to her first game today.
Her response
So being my first NFL game I don't have a lot to base this opinion against ...however:
1. The sportsmanship and friendliness of the Texans fans was almost overwhelming. (Minus the few drunken dbags, of course)
2. There's a LOT of Bears fans here today. #BEARDOWN
3. Every single player was holding the American flag today.
4. 72,000 people STOOD United for OUR national anthem and it gave me goosebumps.

WE ARE UNITED. WE ARE AMERICA.

Nice second half adjustments, the pass rush will be lethal.
Speed kills, WF V is the real deal, Braxton will get his coming out party, but he does dirty work inside
Os is composed and can move, kind of a Big Ben.
When the timing gets down, wow, this could be special
Cushing out for 6+ weeks, not good, but survivable
We have a RB, I am not sure he can take the load he got today, may need to spell him a bit more

Bears are well coached, secondary was weakened due to injuries, so a solid win. Missed big plays were mainly Texans so could have won bigger

Good win. TexansTalk held it together through your absence. It was pretty tough getting through it without you slingin' the BattleRed KoolAid though. But we made it. I hope this ain't gonna happen every Sunday. I was really looking forward to a JamTex Texans gameday Sunday.

It's hard to be on here and with 50 friends and family watching the game. BBQ, beer, family, friends, the game. Sorry, but that comes before the game day thread. lol
