The Seattle Seahawks very happily select Demetrius Williams, WR from Oregon, a player on their draft board with a second round grade. Williams will provide a deep threat from the #2 or #3 receiver spot.

... and then there was one.

And with the final selection of the Dunta_23 Mock Draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select, Anthony Smith, S, Syracuse

Thanks again to all those that participated... I had fun and the draft went fairly realistic...Hope everyone Enjoyed it.

With the 1st selection of the 4th round, 97th overall, the Houston Texans select, Daniel Bullocks, S, Nebraska

...., the New York Jets select Kevin Boothe, OG/OT, 6-5, 325, Cornell.

With negotiations still on going, & Pennington's desire to stay with the Jets, the team has decided to add another cog to the offensive line. Boothe can play several positions across the line & gives the Jets several options.

TE Tony Scheffler (Western Michigan)
Height: 6-6 | Weight: 260 | 40-Time: 4.54

Has excellent size and the frame to get even bigger...Tremendous receiver with good hands who will make the tough catch...Outstanding athlete with solid speed...Can get down the middle and stretch the field...Smart player who just knows how to get open...Runs good routes...Very productive...Has a lot of upside.

In the fourth round, the Cleveland Browns select - FS Pat Watkins, Florida State. While the Browns GM is starting to question even himself for all the defensive picks, in the end it should make for a very talented core to work the new defense around. Hopefully the offense will be addressed through free agency and from within.

Rashad Butler, LT, The U. (that's Miami for all ya'll Northerners.)

With Roman Oben about to go to pasture and Shane Olivea strictly a RT, the quick Butler might be the LT the Chargers need to keep Brees on his feet.

In my world we resigned Drew and sent Rivers packing. Not sure why they didn't consult me.

....., the New York Jets select Dusty Dvoracek (DT) 6-2, 301 Oklahoma.

After an extensive investigation, the Jet's organization has determined that Dusty has his past emotional troubles under control & behind him.

DENVER SELECTS TEXAS TE DAVID THOMAS

thomas_david_jube.jpg

with Putzier gone via free agency Denver likes the athlitic, fundamentally sound blocking/receiving TE from the National Champion Longhorns. after addressing our two biggest needs on the defensive side (FS Michael Huff & DE Darryl Tapp) of the ball we are thrilled to still grab a player like Thomas who fits perfectly in Mike Shanahan's system.

With the 122nd pick in the DUnta_23 Draft, the Chicago Bears are PROUD to Select CB Anwar Phillips from PENN ST. CB is one of the positions on the Defense which has needed a little help. Anwar will be a wonderful addition to this side of the ball.

The bears have been judicious in our picks this year and have added playmakers or solid additions at each position. In rd 1, we took playmaker TE Leonard Pope. In round 2, we shored up our OLine with STUD OG Davin Jospeh. With our third pick we took solid Spencer Havin to help our OLB crew. Now in the fourth round we have taken a CB to help us make the number one defense in the league even better! Look out NFC North, we are young, strong, and will only get better!

John Alston, OLB, Stanford.

After bolstering the d-line interior with Wroten and snagging two more playmakers in Mercedes Lewis and Travis Wilson, the Panthers turn their attention to the d-side again. With Will Witherspoon likely gone in FA, Carolina attempts to replace him with a guy who burned it up at the combine. His 4.43 had heads shaking and along Thomas Howard was easily the fastest OLB. He needs to put on a few pounds but represents great value this deep into the draft.

DENVER SELECTS MIKE HASS WR. OREGON STATE

Rod Smith has been a workhorse for the Denver Bronco system year after year, time now to add depth & train your future replacement. I've watched Mike Hass play alot of games and each time he will rise up put the team on his back and carry them as far as he can go. Not great speed but excellent use of angles, footwork, adjust's to the ball, reading defensive alignments and Mike Hass has extremely soft hands, maybe the best hands in the draft. NFL comparison Steve Largent.
